Nationality is Malaysian. Ethnicity is Malay, Indian, Chinese. There is no Malaysian race but it is the nationalism that unites Malaysians regardless of ethnicity. Basically Malaysian food are a fusion from the main ethnic groups (e.g. Mee goreng mamak, The mee is from Chinese cusine, Spices from Indian cusine, Halal mutton from Malay mutton supplier often cooked by Malaysian Indian) The deserts you had such as Chendol and Ice kachang are truly Malaysian delicaies with mostly Malay condiments. Foreign labour are mostly from Bangladesh, Pakistan n Indonesian they are often contract workers who carry out menial work and are not Malaysians.

Lai chi kang is a sweet dessert with longan, white fungus( the one one that looks like mushroom) winter melon, rock sugar. Its good to reduce heatiness and cools down your body. Bubur cha cha has sweet potatoes, yam(taro) and sago pearls with coconut milk. Black sesame porridge. Its like tahini but using black sesame. All these are healthy desserts. The tiny egg is quail egg. Usually in our area all lai chi kang doesn't have egg in it. Quail egg is usually cooked as a savoury dish. Lai chi kang and sesame porridge are chinese desserts. Bubur cha cha and cendol is a malaysian dessert that all the races serve. Both use coconut milk not coconut water. Coconut water is what you drink from the coconut fruit.
Chinese food in Malaysia is not the same in China. Indian food in Malaysia its fusion mix with local culture soo its sold by Malaysian indians and not found in India. Bubur caca , cendol is originate from Malaysia. if you go to malay shop in you can also get Cendol and Bubur caca.

Gosh, you are really adventurous with food. That is good. You will realise the Chinese food in Penang is different from Ipoh. Penang is mainly Hokkein cuisine while Ipoh is more of Hakka/Cantonese cuisine. However both of these places may have common dishes but still it is still Malaysian food.
Bubor cha cha is a coffee-time snack..& the snow white fungus with the egg is supposed to be a healthy tonic..not normally considered a dessert, but may be one of 10 or 12 course restaurant meals..the same may be said of the medicinal sesame concoction. The only real dessert u had was the cendol (green pandan noodle dish)
The 'bubur cha-cha' looks yummy. You liked the sweet potato. I thought you missed trying all the other ingredients in the dessert. There are also pieces of yam and sago in the dessert.
I just came from your other video that was recommended to me when you were in India! But now I see you no longer have the really long hair at the top! But what I would like to know is. What is your ethnicity? I’m a Gadite from the Tribe of Gad!
Please note that if u r sharing food from a centre pool of dishes a “common spoon” is left in for u to scoop into ur personal bowl. U can then eat with ur own spoon n not double dipping……yuk!
Bubur cacar is not chinese, it is malaysian. Chinese dessert is lin chi kang for example. How come that chinese boy does not know? Cendol is not chinese either.
Brother, just curious are you a Muslim? I have been to Turkey many times but never been to Azerbaijan. If you are a Muslim, not all non-Malay/Muslim stalls are 'halal'. Sometimes it has Halal label if it is a restaurant but for small stalls you need to ask them. Btw, chendol is not uniquely Malaysian dessert as it also famous in Indonesia due to similar culture. However there are varieties of cendol. Malaysia is a country and Malaysians consist all ethnicities included Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, and many more. For cendol in Malaysia, it considered Malaysian dessert not Chinese as it served by Malays, Chinese, Indians , Peranakan Baba Nyonya or other ethnicities similar to Nasi Lemak, sate and other foods which became national cuisine and delicacy.
Kalau ditanya dia apa agama dia, dia tak pernah jawab. Aku rasa dia ni islam pasal dia drp Azerbijan, tgk muka dia tu mcm mix turkey. Dekat Pakistan video, dia sentiasa bagi salam kepada semua orang tapi disini dia ckp hello kpd semua termasuk orang Melayu .aku tgk dia bedal semua, babi pun dia makan. Ngeri aku tgk.
Davud is still confused about when to use the word "Malaysian". Perhaps he needs to be educated about our multi-racial society and our food is categorised into Malay, Chinese & Indian types. Bubor cacar has two versions - Malay & Chinese but the ingredients are the same. Davud, bubor cacar is dessert, not soup hahaha. Anything orange he sees he think they are mangos lol. Enjoy your food experience in Ipoh dear Davud. U must try out real Malay food in the next city in Malaysia that u visit. Anyway, I admire your constant curiousity to know what ingredients go into the good u eat. Birds eggs hehehe...❤️❤️❤️
Davud doesn't have to worry. Only the locals can differentiate the accents of local or non-locals so if he made a mistake people would be understanding.
Please correct ur self. It's Malay Indian and Chinese. Its not Malaysian and Chinese. U can say Malaysian Chinese Malaysian Indian and Malaysian Malay.
