I came across this video cuz DE was teasing something about void keys - and I found this channel with this video. Crazy how the game looked so many years ago. I'm glad this exists! Also if u are planning to come back, it's time because there are loads of new things
@@tszgeri_7813 Old but new, yeah. The main reason I abandoned the game was some changes I didn't like. For example I never mastered gameplay in space called archwing. I was so bad I left it 😅I loved Void and derelict, mechanics of obtaining keys to them and finding secrets. before that, DE introduced damage 2.0, it was a lot new things to learn, not sure if it helped this game in any way. I liked how simple it was on the beginning.
I would honestly love a void tileset expansion, bring some tiles like the old extraction and other removed tiles alongside some new ones for variety, and also what did you mean about DE teasing void keys?
A Forums post led me here, a̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶r̶e̶b̶o̶r̶n̶. It feels odd to watch Warframe from 8 years ago. Somehow the game looked way more... pronounced back then. It certainly lost some of its identity over the years. But Boltor sounded generic as heck. Also the freaking drums! How anyone thought this was going to work is beyond me. Another edit: the ancient at 10:07 looks like some Dark Souls boss with those smoke effects! A shame they removed them.
It's a tier.number of keys is located in another place. Don't worry about using the key. you can enter the Void multiple times with one key, but you can complete it only one time. A key is consumed when you complete a mission. If you abort, you save your key. You can invite your friends to help do tower raid with you.
I think it's not the level of your Warframe you wanna worry about (anyway, you better be lvl30) but the number of others Tennos you'll bring with you since a T3 key displays lvl50+ ennemies.
Yes, It's uploaded on May 2013. I miss this game from that time :( I remember how fascinated I was with the Void that time...that's so nostalgic. but now it's a history, when my veteran friends stopped playing it because of how it changed recently.
No, I have break from this game, but constantly thinking to go back, as there are a lot of new things. I somehow miss certain things how they are years ago comparing to now.

Thae fact that there was no bullet jump back then makes Warframe look so hard
Back in the day bullet jump didn't exist and we used to crouch/slide to gain a minor speed boost. It was carpal tunnel inducing.

You mean common Frost? Its parts drop from one of bosses. Prime version is obtainable within the Void. For details, check the Warframe Wikia page.
