I’m so appreciate confirmation that I made the right non meat choice. It does look delicious. Hopefully cooking the one I purchased turns out as great as yours did.

I needed to travel far to find the Gardein Turk'Y Roast. $15 each. Target. Someplace in Plymouth Meeting, PA, 14.2 miles away. You are such a good son, and know how to surprise. Great parents too. Your sister and you are so good with your parents.

GARDEIN has been my favourite for the last 11 years, although, we can only get the packet with 4 individual size roasts here in Toronto. I’ve bought the SOL CUISINE family-size roast for the last two holidays, and it looks and tastes as good as the GARDEN roast. The mash and veg looked delicious, too. Happy Herbivore’s mushroom gravy is our favourite, too. We put that on everything, or just eat it as a soup, too!

I haven't seen the Gardein roast anywhere this year! I ended up going with the Celebration Roast from Field Roast. Still is a nice option, but I've been making the Gardein roast for the past 4-5 years, so I was surprised not to really see it anywhere.
We were counting on the trader Joe's turkeyless roast that we've had for the last 3 or 4 years, so when I saw the gardein one a month ago, I skipped it. Went to trader Joe's two weeks ago and were told they're not carrying it this year! My Aldi's isn't selling the turkeyless fillets they had last year either! Went to two Wegmans and two Walmarts, nothing! So guess who's attempting to make my first seitan turkey on Wednesday? Wish me luck!

I'm in Florida tampa area. For 3yrs gardein roast is very hard. Only place is certain walmarts not all. Or sprouts. It makes it hard. It's funny I was thinking of your old videos from Thanksgiving. Wish you would post more. Thx craig.. also have you tried fields holiday roast
I have tried Field Roast before actually! Back in 2019 my whole family, The Vegan Zombie and Max all tried 4 different ones to see which one was the best. I think you'd really like that video!
Looks great I think I’m gonna try the following ingredients in mashed potatoes 🥔: some earths own creamy barista oat milk, a certain amount of avocado -fresh, and a little bit of silken tofu , that with other traditional ingredients like garlic salt, and maybe “ buttery flavoured” soup base kind of thing I’m not sure 🤔 You got me feeling like I want to experiment - who knows the right combination and amount might be good 👍🏻

You can actually go to the Gardein website and see where they have certain products near you. They might have them at a store you've never even considered!

I’ve been having trouble getting my favourite Diana ( ?) vegan mozzarella cheese slices , Please pardon the hopscotch Siri dictation ! 😝 Perhaps you and a friend could travel to the production facility in California or wherever, and do an investigative report 👀 where is Mike’s vegan slices dammit !
I'm wondering if you brought it all in individual plates or bowls, per person, if it would cut down on the uncomfortable-ness of people wanting more, yet taking less, etc., (Like putting the Tofu turkey, veggies and potatoes in one individual bowl per person), that way you could make sure that your parents get a good, hefty amount, first. Or at least take a good amount out for them first, then you could leave the rest in the baking pan or whatever, for others. Also, when sharing the cheesecakes, instead of everyone getting each others germs, you could cut them up with a knife, so there are less germs shared. But if no one rally minds, then it's no big deal. I always think people might prefer not sharing germs. 💙
I've actually found that I'm better at getting people to go vegan when I don't try. It has to be their idea. My Mom went vegan a couple months after me about 10 years ago and my Dad went vegan a year or 2 after that. If you've never read How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie, that book will help you get more people to go vegan than any vegan book could ever hope to!
Why don’t you ever cover up the dish of food when you’re bringing it to them? Lol. Seems like it would get cold and also probably keeps germs and stuff off of it. 🤷🏻♀️

seriously just a salt, pepper and when it comes out a little maple syrup and a good flavored vinegar is great!

Gardein made the best nugs ive had in quite awhile. I found them at walmart but now they dont have the same kind 😢
