Robert seems to have a down to earth feel to him. I think if he's taught his son enough to front a major band temporary I'm sure he taught him peer pressure skills as well. But at the end of the day Tye is his own person and will do what he pleases.
He's already doing better than Jaden Smith lol, but that's not really saying much is it?

Murgins I doubt that he'll do drugs because just examine Robert's behavior and Ty's behavior, Rob's a smart guy and Ty's a smart kid, I doubt he'll do drugs in the future, maybe he'll smoke weed but hard drugs like cocaine and meth is a no-no is Ty's book and a no-no in anyone with a brain's book.
This kid is really good. His style has a bit more power and darkness than his dad's more funk feel. Definitely in his own style. Great work Tye.

the embarrassing thing is that he's 2 years younger than me, also a bassist, and like 5x better.
grinding to the end goal of mastering bass (or anything) takes time, but this little dude got a headstart because ya know, his dad taught him, being probably one of the best teachers anyone could ask for.

So what My parents didn't give a shit about me either. Both of my parents were alcoholic (especially mom) and I didn't have a happy childhood.We were always at war or fighting had binges on alcohol and drugs but just because I didn't does that mean that other kids should be denied one as well. Good for him is what I say
rbagel55 same as you, I didn't have a happy childhood, my parents divorced when I was 6 yrs old and my mother doesn't like me. My mom only loves sons. She also told me this truth when I grown up. But I love my brothers so much, they are my family. And now, I'm a mother, I have an autistic son, My hubby and I love him so much, and we try our best to be good parents. My hubby is a guitarist, he teaches our son to play guitar and enjoy the music. We give all of our LOVE to our son, life is not very long time for us to love, we can love our families, friends and every person we meet, and also ourselves! 😘 Don't stay in the past and sadness, juz use your time to make yourself be happy and full of LOVE♡ Enjoy your life! ☺
