No matter how much he practice, you will hear his average musicianship with every note, no matter if he reached a technical level near virtousity, the output is allways average, never outstanding and never heart-touching. And souls often stay on a specific way, souls who decided to reach musical perfection, they stay on this way, learning more and more, from livetime to livetime. That, it is not a belive, that is an reality. And that doesn't mean that you don't have to practice a lot if you are born with an musical background of your soul, it make's things easier in the musicianship itself, the way you can express your self, the instinctive knowledge of how to compose and play, but even such a person need's to practive the instrument a lot, like every other musician.
Sadly metallica recording quality got worse and worse over time. Stuff is super compressed now vs the old albums. If you have good speakers the 2015 album gives you a headache from how much it's compressed.

@@biggcliff8063 that's ok..I started my self with a pick,, I figured my favorite bass player was steve Harris,,so I put it down and learn the Gallup..it took a long time about a year,, to get the speed and technique down,,but believe me when we did party's we played some punk,, and at that time eary 80s, Metal Church Slayer Exodus and I had to use a pick..I'm fast but not that fast.. I'm mostly kidding but I do give pick players a hard time because to me that's a guitar player cuz I know how hard it is to play with your fingers it takes a long time,, if you play metal songs..thing is one of my favorite bass player is Chris squire,,a pick player.. I can't imagine this young girl's fingers they must hurt I hope there's she's using flat round cuz that's better for your fingers,,,

I used to pull my Mullet out trying to play that back in the 80s, and I never had that much fun playing Cliff because he’s not exactly easy for a beginner. That’s what I was too.
