    I play mine 2 hours a day. Hard. It's very well made. About to buy another set. On sale $273 on ebay from donner. Until December 30

      I would honestly not bother buying a Donner e-kit. If you are already playing a lower-end low-budget e-kit, why buy another one? I understand it may be better than what you already have, but honestly, to actually be good at playing drums, you either need an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit. If you take what you learned on your low-budget e-kit or the DED-200 and then go playing an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit, you will feel like you really did not learn much as the perform, and play so differently.

    Good drummer, informative review. Voice audio was very poor however. I had to read the CC all the way through.

      I understood and heard everything perfectly. It must be your device having issues.

    What drum speaker did you use for this kit?

    For all you drummers out there or ones that want to learn drums, I would avoid lower-end low-budget e-kits. Yes, you can learn the basics on them, but if you take what you learned and try to play it on an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit, you will find that it is really hard and you kind of have a relearning curve because high-end e-kit and accustic kits perform, play, feel, and sound so differently and more realistic over a lower-end budget friendly e-kit. My suggestion is to go to a music store and try out lower-end low-budget e-kits and high-end e-kits and see, feel, and hear the difference. If you want to learn guitar, do you first buy a toy guitar that plays and sounds only a little like the real thing? Then why buy a lower-end budget friendly e-kit that non-beginning drummers refer to as toys of a drum set? A high-end e-kit such as the one i play is 99.9%, like playing an accustic kit. The DED-200 or any lower-end low-budget e-kit is only like 20% of what an accustic kit should play like. I understand that good high-end e-kits are expensive, but they are way worth saving up for as I had to save for 3.5 years to get mine, and it is well worth it over a budget friendly toy of an r-kit.

    Does the stock volume on this go quite loud? For like a Church worship environment? If not I can buy a amp for it but was just curious

      To hear any e-kit, you either need a drum amp or headphones. They do not come with built-in speakers. Also, if you truly want to learn drumming, I would not waste any money on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit as they are nothing like playing an accustic kit or even a high-end e-kit.

    What’s better for you this kit or the Simmons Titan 50?

    • @Iamadrummer
      @Iamadrummer Місяць тому

      As far as lower-end low-budget e-kits go, some may be better than others, but they are all relatively similar. Honestly, I would not waste my money on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit. The main reason is that if you take what you learned on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit and then try to play that on an accustic kit or a high-end e-kit, you will find it will be difficult as they respond, feel, and play so differently it will be like relearning drums over again.

    I would say you could make any kit sound good! But this one is not the case, You sound good as always but those sounds on drum!! is weak! they need to tighten up the sound to give that kick and snare more Crack! but I guess if you live somewhere you cannot play live drums this might be a good trade off.

      Good higher-end e-kits sound fantastic. Lower-end low-budget e-kits always sound like crap unless you use a VST for sounds.

      It is a lower-end low-budget e-kit, and they all sound horrible. A higher-end e-kit like the one I have sounds just like good quality accustic kits, and plays, performs, and reacts just like an accustic kit. The budget friendly lower-end e-kits are mabe practice tools, but for me, I learned on an accustic kit and now have a high-end e-kit they just feel and sound like toys pretending to he a drum kit

      If you get a high-end e-kit, they sound and play just like an accustic kit, and the lower-end budget friendly e-kits are just basically toys that resemble drum kits.
