Pangolins remind me of turtles. They have been around for a very long time. The mellow version of Wave of Mutilation would be cool.
one of the things that took up a big part of my brain in my in person days when I had 100 weekly students was keeping the many different strings of inside jokes straight. Your pangolin inside joke has made it into my brain.
@@RyanLendt 🤣 True story. I just thought of you because you have turtles and your Kermits and I think you are very kind amazing musician who has taught me many great songs and riffs. So I watched a documentary on the Pangolins being almost extinct because of poachers using there shells for medicine. So very wrong and sad. Very unique creature. So for some reason Ryan Lendt came to my mind. I think because of you rescuing turtles and your love for animals. You're a good man Ryan Lendt. The one lesson you taught and you had a giant pig having a nap in the sun. That is why you are very successful and why so many love your show. Honest, fun and to the point. I learned Grandma's Always Brings Crappy Deviled Eggs from you. Keep on doing what you love and thank you Ryan. Peace!

Hi Ryan, Happy Easter! Do tortoises live longer than turtles?
I think the only real answer to that question is that nobody on earth knows for sure. a box turtle was found recently with '1912' etched into his shell (don't anyone ever etch anything into a turtle's shell please!) - which means he was full grown in 1912 and is 120 years old at minimum. Terrence is about 7, the other three sulcatas are 6. I have a 15 year old pond turtle, one 40 year old box turtle, and a box turtle who is anywhere between 50 and ?. I am clueless as to the age of the three russian tortoises. Odds are almost certain that many or most of my chelonian friends will outlive me by a long time. I intend to donate generously to a turtle sanctuary to ensure their continued well being when the time comes.
