Hey Guys! I hope you enjoy this video through Medellin! Please make sure to watch it in HD as it was filmed with a GoPro for safety reasons! Looking forward to hearing from you all! 🙏🏻
If you get any friend tell them who will they vote Uribe or Petro if they vote for Uribe they like to steal and they are dishonest because they like living in shit in poverty and they like to steal
Thanks for inviting that young man to sit down for a meal, when we visit relatives in Colombia, we do the same thing. There are so many people going over into Colombia from Venezuela for a better life, and something as simple as buying them a meal really helps them out. There was a period of time where it was the other way around, where struggling Colombians left for a better life in Venezuela. This was never forgotten and Colombians are more than happy to repay the favor.
Sure, he'd never give a dime to any of the window washers who hustle before the tolls to enter the Lincoln tunnel in NYC. But hey, Gen Z tourists - cheap eats, drinks, living off mommy & daddy for big ticket items.
The drink is called "Guarapo" it has lemon but the difference to a lemonade is that it's based on sugar canne juice, directly extracted from the plant. Unique flavours you will only experience over there 🇨🇴
@@kingarthurj agua Panela is made of already processed sugar cane blocks (unlike guarapo that is extracted from plant itself) and it does not contain lemon.
I'm surprised this video only has 65,000 views so far. This is one of the MUCH better videos showing off Medellin and it is well filmed. Super helpful info as well!
My husband and I live in MX and have recently decided we will go to Medallín next August, so we have been looking up info. This is the kind of video I like, no over-dramatizing things when you find something you're not used to (or sketchy LOL), just showing what you came across. Excellent video, thank you for sharing!
Sometimes you come across a video that is interesting in many ways. Yet despite this being a simple tour in an interesting country, I find the creator pleasant to watch, and he talks with a good pace. So yeah i like this. So once again a great channel to explore. Well done 👍
It's amazing how our US Dollars is worth in Colombia, I handed out lot of one bills to some homeless and needed people it makes you feel good to your heart ❤
I did the same on my way out with the pesos I converted from USD. Figured I can’t use this back in the states so I literally walked around giving the money to anyone in need who asked

Medellín is pretty safe, been there 8 times since 2015....but haven't been there since the Venezuelan migration which unfortunately have made the city somewhat unsafe...sadly they are struggling to survive anywhere they go...but I Medellín and its people are amazing...love it....
I visited Bogota and Medellin in October 2019 but spent more time in Medellin, as much as i really love the city, the weather and its people. I left Medellin with heavy heart after witnessing the poverty. I witnessed 16 year olds girls engaging in prostitution at parque Lleras. I know it's easy said than done but I wish there's a sustainable sulotion to this problem. I've sponsonred several Venezuelan families at the start of the pandemic for a few months but i also lost my job at some point because of the restrictions. Thanks for sharing your blessing. I hope more poeple will do the same.
You would make a terrific guide. Very informative and real life adventures in the city. I also love ❤️ your passion to help those in need. You are A true humanitarian.
Terrific job ! I just subscribed. When I travel I figure on at least 100 US dollars a day for food drinks and entertainment. But I see 20$ can go far. Unfortunately my Spanish is limited and the locals see me coming a mile away and the price usually works against me. As an example your day would have cost me easily 60$ . Keep up the good work!
Bro your a legend👌 i like the fact that you help the people in need, i hope fellow travel vloggers watch your video's and see this as a lesson 💪 god bless you 🙏🙌

Good hearted, idol Chris! It's shows your genuine trademark of having a high EQ+SQ (emo.& spiritual intelligence) - people admire you for being a natural loving person, a truly unique Chris ❤ Love your journey from Serbia to Mexico, Colombia and now Venezuela ❤ Your streets, food, places, engagements in your vlog simply amazing, full of energy, humor, optimism, honesty - highly recommend for everyone. I am just bit sad why you only got 40k subs in here. I hope you explore the Philippines 🇵🇭 and for sure, your subs will hit 500K, why? Filipinos are all over the world, especially OFW (overseas foreign workers) for years, and misses their 700k islands! Be safe, idol Chris. Philippines love you ❤🇵🇭
i spent 3 weeks in Bogota last may,, coming back to colombia to spend the winter,, i hope to check out Medellin as well,, my favorite was to see you helping the young man out with a meal, i must admit i did that type of thing daily and it is a good feeling when you can share your good fortune
You videos are so nice and clear. I love Medellín and plan to go next April with my Colombian husband who is from Itagui. It will be my 1st time, can’t wait!
Someday I’d like to visit; it’s amazing to see the generosity and the appreciation received. I help the unfortunate here periodically too but obviously the dollar doesn’t go far here - a few time they would scoff at the 10 bucks I gave them stating “that’s it?” as if it was insulting.
I watched from beginning to end . I really enjoyed the walking tour … and thank you for helping the teenage boy out . As a Mom…. I know I would want someone to look out for my child … so thanks from all the Moms !! 🇨🇴
Just got back to the U.S last week. after 3 months in Colombia and 3 months in Mexico. Immediately bought a ticket for Jan back to Medellin I missed it too much I had to go back 😭
I understand the feeling, whenever I go somewhere other than where I live (I'm from the US), I just want to go back. I'm going to go visit Medellín, Guatapé, Bogotá, and Cartagena by next summer.
Great video. I like the way you presented the city of Medallion and the drinks and food available. The best part is you bought a meal for the guy cleaning car windshields. Its great when people help people. We need more people to what have done. After watching your video, I would definitely want to visit Columbia and see the sites and eat at the restaurants.
Your videos are awesome, the quality is great even with the GoPro. I love the way how you help people, you're such a lovely person. This place looks scary and unsafe, please take care 💕
Nice of you to buy the young man a meal, my trip in Mexico I bought a few meals and helped the elderly. It doe's not hurt your wallet to help when someone is in need. I enjoyed the so called bad side of town, but then Los Angeles has just as dangerous and deadly areas. The art is amazing and the buildings beautiful and the people seem nice. I would be on edge and guard in the city, but that is life and travel in these areas of the world. Sad it costs $10 dollars for a woman in the red light district, this is very sad straight up man. the food looks great and all the carts and what you have eaten looked so good. Nice video and educational about the real life struggle of the Columbian and Venezuela people who live their. Blessings to the people🙏🏽

My go-to meal in a small restaurant like that is the fried trout that comes with all that and the soup is usually a fish soup. And of course the juice. Less than $4 USD... can't beat it. My favorite is Delicias De Mi Tierra Pacifica in downtown near the large Exito.
