Thank you for the informative video! As a dentist about to start working in england for the first time- what would you say would be an achievable target for UDA rate daily/ yearly? This will be my first year as an associate dentist.

      Hi,
The practice you work at will determine how many UDA's you can actually achieve.
You can be conservative and start with 4,000 UDA's then ask for more if you meet the target early. This is rarely an issue. Experienced dentists on the NHS can start to take on 7,000+ UDA's.

Really useful video!! Thanks a lot!😊 When you said your capacity for private Tx increased in your 1st yr as associate, how does this occur? Did you mean as a result of increased efficiency and skills with NHS work, you were able to now provide high quality private work?

As I increased in efficiency, I could complete the same number of UDAs within less time. This meant I could now take on more private work as I had the space in my diary to book private treatments.
Providing higher quality work will come from reflection, courses and getting the reps in.
