can we just take a minute to appreciate the fact that yes Zeta might be what some (okay most) would consider to be a fussy eater but she's always so open minded when it comes to trying different foods including foods from different cultures!
despite what these videos show - I actually love food. A lot. hahaha
I could honestly see Zeta bringing in McDonald's hashbrowns and arguing that it's homemade because she had to use her hands to go get them or something crazy like that.

Why does Tom always score several points lower just because something requires anything more than the bare minimum effort? Hameda got a ten and a nine point five and then Tom gave it a SIX just because it required using a stove? Sorry but not everyone wants a piece of toast for breakfast and other cultures usually require cooking for breakfast.
seems he's intimidated by cooking and thinks anything that requires a little chopping and heat must be labor intensive and time consuming
I can understand not wanting something labour intensive, but like.. Agree that the eggs w/ bread and veg was not labour intensive.
It really wasn't even a lot of work to make!!
esp bc just throwing something on the stove in a pan (and all in one pan at that) is so easy!! like sure it takes a little more time than toast. but you can get it cooking while you make your coffee or do some other quick morning chore.
It also kind of depends on if you're looking for an every day breakfast, with not as much time in the mornings, or weekend breakfasts where you have more time on your hands.

Hameda had the best one no doubt, reminded me of huevos ranchero. She also get a plus because the egg white was not crisp, burned to a char. I fail to understand why every one cooking an egg allegedly sunny side up or over easy cannot do so with out buring the white to a char. Off my soap box and a "Well done Hameda".

Persian people eat Hameda’s dish as well but we put feta cheese and radishes with sabzi(greens) side with walnuts mixed in. Cucumber with salt and pita with the egg and the cheese and greens as a lunch or breakfast sandwich also so yummy. If you want make rice with it and eat it as a light dinner. Super easy to make, very filling and pretty healthy.
Hameda deserved to win cause tomato eggs looks lovely. I think I must be one of the few people in the world that hates Avocado.

*Why* did I take it *personally* when he was like "kimchi isn't on,"? I was like #1 you're wrong. #2 the kimchi in my fridge that is almost gone would disagree. And rice with eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, and kimchi is tops. Add a lil sambal olek if you're feeling spicy. Go to meal any time of day. Like I'm not even Korean and I was like, 'how dare you?' 😅

Great episode. All the breakfasts look great. I thought Tom was going to annoy me when he gave Hameda a low grade saying it was too difficult to make, when it looked really easy, but ... then he seemed pretty fair. Also, I automatically think of sourdough when I think of Avo Toast. Not sure why.

In Germany we made something similar to Hameda but rather for dinner. But you stir the eggs in and use much more tomatoes. We always make it when we have to much tomatoes in our garden to eat them before they go bad

Interesting tidbit, papaya is excellent to use in marinade for tougher cuts of meat that have low fat content. The enzymes in it are magical. Also you can grind the seeds and add them for a peppery kick.
