It's like BuzzFeed, but down under. We're a bit cooked, not afraid to get deep and sometimes we'll make you crack up. New videos every week!
“It’s not appropriate for every occasion” - the guy who provided oysters lmaoooo
“Can I have seconds? Am I allowed to?” Sybil’s critique on the oysters was spot on. When I go to a friend’s house and they serve oysters, I’m immediately like omg can I eat more than one? I feel like I should transfer some money to someone 😂
Absolutely and it would feel criminal to go for seconds knowing some other person won't get their share..
Exaaaaaactly
I swear to god people would come over just for the dinners my parents would make. Our house was pretty much an open door, just walk right in.
Ryan’s personality always comes through so strongly in his food. We stan.
I think Clauds deserves a mention for how damn pretty her hair and make up is here.
She is soooooooooooo beautiful
"Strawberries aint cheap, Chocolate aint cheap,
watermelon, eh fine, m&ms Eh Fine" Sybil 2023
Ryan throwing the cracker with the hummus on it has me crying 😂😂😂
3:42 Tom calling it a CHARTUCERIE BOARD lol
as soon as sybil uttered the words "cob loaf" she was already the winner
It is such a classic. So simple but so delicious
same lol
Is it just me or did Clauds look phenomenal in this video?! The bangs suit her so beautifully
Nope liked it the least personally
YOU LADY ARE A SIMP YOU PRAISED A WOMEN'S APPEARANCE ON THE INTERNET
HOW DARE YOU??
Sybil is a whole mood.
Ryan's vest situation threw me. Why is everyone else in sleeves, a hoodie and jacket, and he's in a vest? 😂
Ok, I found this channel a couple of months ago and I have to say, these kinds of videos are my favorite! Everyone has constructive criticism but is kind to the other contestants at the same time. I love to see the different dishes everyone makes-I’m not from Australia but it still gives me ideas of things to make (or not, ha)! Please keep doing them…😊👌🏼
Sybil, is the winner for me. Not necessarily for her dish, though everyone seemed to enjoy - but because she speaks sense. Agreed with everything she said.
I'd be happier at a party like hers, because her style is comfort over posh/fancy. Feel like I could relax versus others who seemed to be preparing a dish to show off, made for Insta, or likes - which plenty of people are into. Just not for me.
The second I saw Clauds plate I knew she would win. I'm like Tom, I'll offer up a cheese and dip platter but if I turned up to a friends place and they offered me that chocolatey goodness I wouldn't be going home till it was finished!
I like Sybil. She cooks tasty stuff, is thoughtful, resourceful, practical in the choice she made with Cob bread as opposed to something like Oyesters that is too fancy and can make people wonder if they can go for seconds. One bite and your dine. Dessert plate too, may not be great for every occasion like if you want to have a game night or watch movie with friends at home. Again, not everyone has a sweet tooth.
I think I love Sybil - I had so much fun watching her expressions
“Mmm…hummus” then he throws it away 🤣🤣
"that is duck liver."
"OH, OKAY...that makes me sad."
idk what it is but this bit had me in stitches lmao.
i'VE Been dying of laughter 🤣
Clauds absolutely deserved that win; I’m absolutely copying her plate for my next gathering!
Clauds eyes are a show stopper.
agreed
Never stop making these!!!!! I live for them. Thank you buzzfeed Australia!
Every time I watch this channel I think Sybil seems like she would be my bestie lol love her so much ❤
Growing up, my mom always made some rockin' deviled eggs and cucumber spicy tuna, I'm drooling even just remembering it
Crispy M&Ms are the best ones!!
As I’m a pastry chef and chocolatier, my entertainer foods definitely skews sweet, but I always try to also have some chips/crackers with dips and a selection of cheese as well as some baked goods that aren’t too sweet. I also make a batch or two of gluten free, sugar free something (I’m a Type 1 diabetic, so something I can safely eat).
Whenever I host anything, people will actually call/text and ask what desserts I’m going to make
I LOVE this series. I never watch any content from buzzfeed anywhere on earth except for this series. I watch for Ryan, he's even more extra than me but the while crew serves every time.
I'm from NZ, my mums in Oz and she's always tagging me in cheap Australian food posts (tryna convince us to move) but she should've just tagged me in this. Sybils $13 Cobb loaf would've costed $40 over here 😂
I use cream cheese and curry powder it costs me around 15 dollars from pakie and it’s SO good
@@tyrahhaami8404 yummmm! If it's not too much, do you think you could please write a quick step by step? My kids are obsessed with cream cheese 🤩
@@jalesaisback sorry for the late reply sis, so it’s the greggs curry powder the orange one, you can add spinach if you want.
1. chop spinach up and put it in microwave for a little bit with water to soften
2. Mix your cream cheese and curry powder together with the spinach (optional)
3. Put the mixture into the hole in the bread, (make sure you save the top bit of the bread so you can put it on top like a lid)
4 wrap it in tinfoil and chuck it in the oven (im not sure what temp probably around 150 to 180)
and I leave it in there until the bread is crispy.
not really the greatest explanation because I just play it by air xx
@@jalesaisback You can get the bread from paknsave or countdown xx
Oh lord. I'm from the southern part of the USA. Something like this for me personally, would be a meaty queso dip with salty chips, some Buffalo and BBQ wings, and then some cheese and crackers. Probably overloaded on the savory honestly, but people do love to indulge at a party.
Surely need to do a cob loaf episode with different types
Did Tom say “chartucerie board?” lol
Yes, very confidently lol
Pimento cheese, hard cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, ritz crackers, hummus on sale, and a bowl of grapes on a used chopping board with knife marks.
My girl can’t handle ANY spice. 😂
Something that I love to snack on is fancy crackers with goat cheese and apricot jam, you could probably do whatever jam but it’s creamy, salty, sweet, crunchy… yum!
…you had me at goat cheese
Might be fun to try subscriber's party foods in a video if you throw it out there and choose a few of them to use. I never have parties at my house but I will bring something to a party to contribute to the snacks. My go-to is taco salad. It would be prepped at home and then all tossed together in a large bowl right before serving and you can prep for it the day before since you want the meat to be cold when you mix it all together at the party.
1 lb. ground beef (you can use chicken, turkey or Vegetarian meat too if you like)
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning (prepare as packet states)
1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 sweet onion, diced
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans or black beans, drained and rinsed
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped or a carton of cherry tomatoes cut
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Bag Doritos Nacho Cheese tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
1 8 oz Jar of Thousand Island or Russian salad dressing
1 8 oz of your favorite Salsa (keep it mild for those who can't handle spice)
You can also add other veggies that you like to it such as different colored bell peppers, corn, etc.
Keep a side jar of jalepenos or other hot peppers for those who like spicy but keep it out of the main salad so it's mild for everyone else.
*The night before the party or the morning of, Cook ground beef (or other meat) in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is no longer
pink. Drain fat and return to skillet. Stir in taco seasoning mix and cook as directed on the packet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer
uncovered for 3-4 minutes (stirring often), until thickened. Set aside to cool slightly while you prepare the rest of the ingredients and once it
cooled down, store it in a plastic zip lock bag in the fridge with the other prepped ingredients. You can keep the veggies and beans together in one
container until you mix it all together. When it's time to serve, squish the bag to loosen the meat into crumbles. Place all the veggies in a large bowl with the cheese & meat and toss well. Add Crushed Doritos, salsa, and dressing. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
Love this series. Great fun to watch. Many thanks 😊
I'm definitely going to make that spinach dip! YUM!
I like to do a hot/cold dip plate, using crab dip, spinach and artichoke, queso and a warm bean dip. Ranch, tzatziki, blue cheese and salsa as well. Then I add things like tortillas, sliced bread that’s been toasted, soft crunchy bread, grilled and roasted vegetables in large chunks, pita, naan. Carrot, celery and cucumber. It’s expensive but these are all staples that I will use throughout the week so it’s just really easy to use the leftovers. If you can by imperfect vegetables you will grill or day-old bread that you’re just gonna pop in the oven anyway you can save costs.
Sybil in this is a total vibe that won immediately for me.
the dirty nails preparing the first dish had me gagging
My entertainer plate depends on the people coming over… but mostly I make the dishes myself and if I do serve something from the store, I jazz it up w/ something homemade… ❤
I would give Tom's scoring photo a 10/10!
Favorite CHANNEL!! Keep it up
I love this - it makes me want to throw a party lol
Misssing Zeta ❤️😭
Those were some great party platters. The dessert one was great because you don't have to eat chocolate if you don't want.
Today i really liked everyone in the video. There was fun, nice comments and above all no over the board shouting 👏👏👏
Syb!l was still ann0ying 🙃
Im from spain and we usually make a runny spanish omelette, some jamón serrano or dried meats in general, olives, shrimp, pickled fish, octopus...a bit of everything
Tapas! ❤
Oysters would obviously be bought in limited amounts. Imagine someone taking a 2nd and another missing out on their share... nooooo..!
Tom is just epic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I didn't know Evan Peters was starring as Tom this season? Crazy! That dude is beyond talented! Literally can become anyone lmao!
I loooooved the bread idea
I knew Ryan would be the one putting out oysters 😂
Char-TOOK-erie? board.......3:40
Sybil is my spirit animal
I really like clauds energy.
Mrs.Clauds would be my absolute #1 choice and then Mrs.Sybils bread bowl. Both looked DELICIOUS
This Tom dude makes me not want to watch these videos while everyone else is great
Ryan is one shady beeatch I love it
I'm here for the dessert platter. Hell yes.
Not Tom calling it a Shartookery board. SMH
I have to admit…it made me giggle a bit. 😬
Mans said a ✨Chartucerie Board ✨ 🤣
5:30 he's a hoot 😂
My go to is Crab 🦀 asigo cheese dip with home made pita chips with a little chilled pepper and garlic nm 😋 yummy
When I was growing up, we called it a pupu platter. I have NO idea what pupu means. Just something we called it. But, we would serve, chips, salsa, andagi, sashimi, ahi poke, stuff like that whatever relatives wanted to bring. AND I just looked up Pu pu. Translated it means Appetizer in Hawaiian. LOL! So Yes. I grew up and still live in Hawaii. :D
I got distracted by Ryan's outfit. Who won?
Claud looks gorgeous here!
First time ever hearing someone pronounce the "T" in Charcuterie board. Of course it'd have to be Tom 😂
He said Shartookery board though 😂 3:40
Sybils dish is spinach dip in a bread bowl. Toms looks good since it gives you choice. Ryans... hard pass, oysters are gross, and unless you are willing to spend 200 bucks, you are going to feed multiple guests on oysters? The dessert platter looked great. Props for that. Only critique is eating the mango would be impossible without a knife to cut it off the peel. Clear winner!
If there was an entertainment board in the USA, it would have mozzarella sticks, pizza rolls, Buffalo wings, jalapeño poppers, chicken strips & maybe onion rings along with ranch & marinara dipping sauces. Possibly some cocktail weinies as well 😀
heart disease on a platter 😅 it's a shame that the yummiest stuff is so unhealthy
Bangs on claud look great
Claud is absolutely stunning
Next video idea, favourite desserts
the way a 9 is a ten on this show
1. Food for movie night or a party or game night. 2. Board game night or first dinner party 3. Fancy dinner party 4. Movie night and house party and vday (with all that chocolate)
Wowww i was wondering what is an entertainer plates just before he gave me the definition; good job
As a Swiss, that charcuterie board is a disgrace xD. But still, you guys are the most amazing crew ever. Keep it on.
I don't know how Clauds Dessert platter would be with friends and beer.. 🤨
not tom calling a charcuterie board a chartucerie board 💀💀💀
I'm from Hawaii and I've never heard of a Cob Loaf before, but I'm going to try it and it's probably going to be my new favorite/cheap snack. Thanks, Sybil.
Not that her dip looked bad, but I would highly recommend replacing it with Mississippi Sin Dip for the ultimate, decadent cob loaf.
@@jennischindler Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into it.
Looking at the dessert plate I thought banana would be the first thing I dig into, and then Tom does that.. I also don't like marshmallows. I do like Tom, he's my kinda person.
We call them Appetizers in the states!
The dessert plate ❤
we have our go-to entertainer plates like a fruit platter a plate of fruit basically then chips then soda and then a veggie platter with some kind of veggie dip mostly ranch and lastly maybe a cheese platter and or some little cut sandwiches and that's our go too
4:46 same
Chartukery board ?? Lolll
Cob loaf? Never heard of it before, now I’m intrigued…
Should do a charcuterie episode!
i wanna sit around and feed tom chocolate-covered fruit...
Mine is cubed cheese, kabana , savoys and jackfruit chips
charcuterie board without charcuterie !
1am, have work at 7, already ate but now I’m hungry again
i looovee oysters. they're expensive but such a treat!
I agree but for $50 for 12 then they are masked with chorizo and sauce. What’s the point?
I'm uncomfortable with Ryan's shirt lol
It’s a tank top… get over it
I think Clauds and I have very similar palates lol
Fruit and chocolate board for me too.
RYAN MARRY ME!!!! No wait CLAUDS MARRY ME!!!!! Lol
The way my friends eat oysters will be too expensive from these options cob loaf
Hey love the videos
Who are they kidding? If you're entertaining order a bunch of pizzas.
I literally only watch these if toms in it lmao
Was that a Zotti laugh? 5:34
