Just wanted to point out that your channel is the reason why I started cooking at home a lot during COVID and now. Before I barely cooked and now I try to cook everything I eat, this video was perfect as I was just planning to make Birria in a slow cooker after the holidays. Thank you for giving me a hobby I enjoy and feel pride when making food for myself and others!
Respect for cooking your food yourself, you'll notice a huge difference in your health! I've been cooking from scratch for a few years but since discovering this channel, cooking has become a ritual and I've spent way too much money on cooking tools lol
I love to cook it I just tend to make too much and then I learned about meal prepping. Game changer. I have saved so much money cooking meals and portioning them out for a work week.
Cooking is a pastime my wife and I have shared since we met. We’ve also taught our three children how to cook. Cooking is something we do everyday and we get to spend a lot of time together making tasty food. We enjoy Sam’s show and watch it for inspiration often. I commend you for taking the initiative to make the world a tastier place.
I had the honour of meeting Sam at Graze today. The food was incredible but what was better was how kind and welcoming he was to my wife and I. A true gentleman, thanks again Sam. -Canadian
Met him at Not Not Tacos in February 2020 (right before lockdowns)! He even took time to chat with my girlfriend and me for a bit, which put me on cloud nine haha. Great guy
I dunno if you read these things or not but I gotta say a huge thank you to you for what you do. You’re the main reason I cook so good now. I used to make the same terrible stuff over and over. After watching your videos I’ve learned to cook pretty much through you. I even measure the same way as you now when adding ingredients. My wife calls me MasterChef now lol!! Thanks Sam!
Would definitely recommend running the blended pepper mix through a mesh sieve. Otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of tiny pieces of tough chili skin in the sauce, almost like sand.
Here in London and i think about you whenever I go past the Hawksmoore! Found you a few years ago and have loved the content. Especially love the relationship you guys all have and the honesty in not hiding behind a persona. You have helped entertain and inspire so many people, thank you for everything!
I wish I had found your channel back when the mrs. was still alive. You guys have inspired me to get back into the kitchen and enjoy life again. This is helping me out big time dealing with the pandemic. Thanks for sharing your videos and stay safe guys.
Me and my best friend used to watch your videos day in and day out in 2019, he passed away in August of that year. Your videos are always an amazing reminder of him for me. You do more than you think Sam and crew, thank you.
This looks absolutely fantastic! My mouth was watering the entire time.... I'm waiting for you to invent the smell-vision. Looking forward to making this myself!
Love your recipes, and I really hope as my son grows I continue to have an awesome (and hilarious) relationship with him like you have with Max! Merry Christmas guys!
Been using your birria recipe since the birria taco video! People are amazed with how it turns out every time! Will def be trying to make the burrito. The slow motion and angles for the burrito grilling with the sauce on top deserves an award itself, literally at the edge of my seat 🔥
Watch out with the Chipotles. Especially the adobo sauce they're usually soaking in that can overwhelm the flavor of your guacamole really quick. Ruin it if you're looking for a tasty guacamole or you can create a whole new thing.. creamy avocado adobo Chipotle dip/ sauce 😁
The video of dumping the seeds was visually intense. Between the sounds and video,I can almost taste what you guys are doing. Thank you guys! You inspire me to do something new and drag my family with on eating these items.
Every time I watch an episode of this channel, I just get the motivation to rebuild my backyard into a STCG style cooking backyard, my dogs would love it
Sam, that looks awesome!! Just bought myself a new pressure cooker, so I'll definitely give this one a try! Merry Xmas and thanks for all you guys are doing!
I love the fact that you always use a base recipe but you always add your own twist! I always do the same. I have no doubt that come out súper delicioso!!!! Muchas gracias Sam I look forward to all your delicious creations!!!
For everyone making this at home DO NOT put this in a mission tortilla or similar grocery store brands. This recipe deserves a quality tortilla. Looks great
As have I - I made about 5 pounds of it the most recent time and vacuum-bagged some for freezing. I have heat-and-eat birria ready to insert into my face hole whenever the craving strikes. Also, Sam's carnitas recipe is dynamite as well.
First time making birria and I followed this recipe except I put it in the slow cooker for 8 hours. Came out incredible. I even used the leftover meat in Mac n cheese I made the following day. Thank you Sam!
Man! I can't wait to make this... I tried Birria tacos for the first time about a month ago.... So good! I love when you have Max & Chance chime in... I find myself joining in when you ask... "right guys?!" Happy Holidays everyone!
I have seen almost everything you've done, love it all. I know it's one of the most hated dishes out there... But I want to see you make some "next level" liver and onions.
I suspect that you'll have to go throght hte "gatekeeper" of the clicks - Max to have that happen. And I get the impression that Max is not a liver person. And he'll claim that the liver and onions video will not do well, and Sam should do another burger video instead. "For the clicks and the likes!" Hopefully Sam will tell Max to go to hell and do it anyway!
Do It! Do It! Max... There are "liver" people out here. Chicken livers for me please! How about chicken liver pate with garlic toast, Or saúted with onions... Mmmmm. So good. I've spent many dinners with my parents and kiddos at Frankenmuth in Michigan, they are well known for their chicken dinners. Chicken livers, saúted or paté, for an appetizer is to die for. Thank you "Boys"! Happy Holidays!

Sam - you're the BEST You Tube channel to watch... humor with Max and Chance, great video shots, and most importantly - the outstanding recipes and how to prepare them... you're the best my man!!!
Merry Christmas, Sam and Fam! This looks simply Amazing and I can't wait to make it. New Year's Eve will be perfect, I think. I have a serious request of you. Please make stand alone tutorial videos of the different appliances you use in your videos. Specifically the pressure cooker in this instance. Max's perfect shot which made you contort (lol) to set the timer, etc. was edited out/poorly and I, as a brand new (and intimidated) pressure cooker owner, was hoping to watch you work yours. I have looked for tutorials and have seen a half dozen that are quite useless from a teaching POV. You, Sam are one of the best and most colloquial, and entertaining cooking teachers online and I know you would do quite well with this type of content. I'm sure many of your other subs would benefit greatly and entertainingly from your personal walk-through of the different cookware, gadgets, etc. Thanks for your channel and Happy New Year!!!
Thank you for a wonderful year of great vidoes, made this guy's year just a little bit better and a whole lot more tastier. Thanks again for all you do.
Got to get me a pressure cooker because I must duplicate what I just witnessed. Your birria burrito recipe is not only mouth watering but totally sinful. Your rolling technique was impressive considering the size of that burrito. Talking about rolling..... Burritos are like blunts, if you can't roll get a bowl! Thank you Sam for your entertaining way of always presenting recipe ideas that are doable to the average joe.
If you don't have time, storage/countertop space or money to waste on a pressure cooker you can always use the traditional stove top cooking method. I think that's what he used on his birria tacos? If this post looks funny that's voice to text you'll just have to deal with it,. 😅😉
Santa surprised me with the Sam Nakiri knife this morning. Best Christmas ever. Hope you all are having a wonderful and healthy holiday! Thanks for everything, guys! Been a huge help getting through the past couple years! Much love
