The clear lack of understanding and pretending that saying "n*gga" LITERALLY split second after a character in a game says it sums up these people. They be acting like they've never said a "bad word" in the comfort of their own home. As humans we make mistakes, saying this publically was one of them. This is literally the best argument these people have against exceptional critical thinking skills, which Matto often shares with us, in order to make us understand a certain topic a little bit better.
I found Matto because of his reaction content series and I hugely respect the man. One of not many people who are truly fighting a good fight, with odds clearly stacked against them. We don't see this often enough in modern day, and instead we let shitty, explotative behaviours affect our lives in negative ways, and just accept it because "we can't do anything about it."
Keep fighting the good fight, Matto. I hope we'll someday get a world more closely aligned with the idea of making good products and content, instead of just filling their pockets with paper and burying anything that stands in their way.
Edit: On a side note, the glitch transition sound effect makes my ears bleed.

As an *actually* autistic person, there's something so incredibly satisfying about watching your "drama" videos. You have a way of fully articulating your points, as well as covering potential edge cases, and covering counter-arguments that so thoroughly explains your point of view in an eloquent way that I can tell you have an incredibly deep understanding of the topic as well has passion for the creator space as a whole. Its incredibly frustrating even for me seeing how people misinterpret and misrepresent your views, so I can't imagine how annoying it must be for you. Just wanted to share that I don't think there's really any more you could have or could do to change these people's minds, you really did masterful work here.

He tried his best to strike Chud Logic's criticism of him, multiple times, and then told UA-cam not to let him know about his attempted DMCA attempts because it could lead to content that is "harassing or defamatory" in nature. This guy is a coward who can't handle any criticism. He tried to use his bigger platform to steamroll over Chud's critical video, and is only responding now because his lawyer made a mistake and it led to Chud receiving all of their correspondence to UA-cam over 4 months regarding trying, unsuccessfully, to DMCA Chud out of spite.
Chud made a video that is clearly fair use. It received 10k views, used the entire 9 minute portion of a multiple hour stream of DarkViper's, and contributed 26 minutes of commentary. It is entirely transformative; nobody would watch watch Chud's critique as a substitute for DarkViper's original 9 minute clip.

He also says at 22:41 that "a clip, by itself, is not transformative in nature by any definition." However, the Hughes vs. Benjamin case suggests otherwise.
Any grown man that unironically says, and I quote, "Turbo Aids" as a way to mock another person should be treated in the same way that a pre-teen is, because that's precisely the level of intelligence required to think that it's anything other than cringey. His argument was automatically invalidated with that mere fact alone, other than berating someone both relentlessly and unjustifiably in his "fair use" video and Tweets. His video and following actions are the equivalent of ripping off a butterfly's wings and watching it get killed and eaten by ants, then sulking for weeks to your friends about being looked at like a sociopath by your parents.

I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong about DarkViper on this situation. I’ve never understood Autistic hate (I mean, I probably have made an autism joke a time or 2 when I was like 12, but I certainly never called them freaks…) There’s such a wide range of people on the autism spectrum, and there are so many undiagnosed people because people literally don’t know what it is. I’ve gone through 23 full years of my life without knowing I was on the spectrum, And when I took the time to learn what it ACTUALLY entails, It took my breath away because I finally after 23 years had an explanation as to why my brain works as strangely as it does sometimes. Easiest way to dispute said "defense" is by mentioning how some songs can only have 3-5 seconds of them played before you get a copyright strike, the same applies for videos past a certain point, if there's too much of the original content without dissecting or changing the sample material it's not within fair use
A good counter-example are video essays over certain TV shows, for such videos (let's say 10 hours or longer), in total they might have included 1-2 hours of the original unique content AKA the TV show, but the other several hours of original content justify the need for the massive use of foreign material to begin with

But it's not fair use. UA-cam doesn't decide if something is fair use or not. All they do is send a message and tell the "alleged infringer" that person X says that you are infringing on their rights, what do you want to do about it? Let it go or take it to court? If you choose to let it go the video is taken down or claimed, if you choose to take it to court, UA-cam tells the person that filed the complaint that the person wants to take it to court, Good luck to the two of you, bye.
To me the problem is the more we go after reaction content the more UA-cam's already broken system of doing things is just gonna get worse and personally will have a bigger negative affect on the platform than any reaction channel has done.

The fact that literally anyone with video software can create UA-cam content is amazing. But it also leads to situations like these where people with zero knowledge or authority on a subject can spread whatever information they want to their viewers with little consequence.
I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be to constantly have to battle people who don't want to engage with your ideas because it negatively impacts them or because they don't really care enough about the subject to do their due diligence.

I gotta say this new form of editing the video so that there is gameplay in the background could honestly really help these kinds of videos, even on the rambles channel. It adds more engagement into not only what you're saying but also gives something nice to look at as opposed to the usualy style of just having you talking into a camera. It may feel less ''professional'' but it still does a good job activating those monkey neurons of most people including myself.
Overall this video to me at least, is well made even if you may feel that it is a deviation from the norm. However keep up the good content man, great video and hope you've been feeling better recently!

I mean, there's definitely still some nuances to the Pyro situation and I don't really think that the case against him was entirely moot. Pyro has had a pattern of lying about things in his Reddit post prior to his response and much of what has happened is of "he said she said" substance. This video made me sad. I used to watch a lot of these drama UA-camrs about 4 years ago, in the background (now I watch your rambles haha). None of their stuff was monumental, but one day they all did this really needless lynching of Pokimane. I don't care about Pokimane, but the way these guys behaved just felt so weird. They dedicated so much effort to making jokes, hating on her, and generally just being weird. Really obvious that these guys have no social skills, or have ever properly gone outside. I just find it funny how everyone who does react content is on the Chudlogic’s side. And as Viper pointed out there doing everything possible to try and convince people there correct. At the end of the day reaction content is lazy and adds nothing to any platform, I’d understand if people want your feedback or reactions to a piece of media, but reposting the entire content just with you pausing is just out right wrong. It’s the same thing that most shorts creators are complaining about now how there are theese kids reposting videos from big accounts just with there faces somewhere in the background.
