Great video, thank you. The "tiny joysticks" part made me smile. You know the 2 screw-in joysticks are there, in the lower part of the controller, right ? :)
On the DJI website, the Avata 2 is in the compatibility list for the Controller 2 so it doesn’t appear to be necessary to upgrade to the controller 3 if you already own the 2.
if you are able to find the avata 2 as a standalone drone, you may use the goggles 2 and fpv rc2 with it. But here in Philippines, I only see it as a combo with with the goggles 3. you will not be able to use the goggles 3 and fpv rc2 together
Thanks for the video! If you already have the Remote Controller 2 and you want to buy the Avata 2, do you recommend upgrading the controller to 3 as well? (since it is now possible to pair the remote controller 2 with the avata 2)
If you will use rc3, you will need the goggles 3. Both o3 and o4 system is not cross compatible at the moment. They work differently as well. For example the rc2 directly connects with the avata 2. While rc3 communicates with the goggles first. Rc2 is also compatible with the O3 Air unit for diy drones
@@vernelfpv already got it, was flying and took a break to look up the info in your video. you had uploaded it a few hours before i saw it, amazing. Guess I'll wait to try my controller 2 on the avata, I don't think it's supported yet.
The FPV 3 controller appears to transmit at 2.4GHz only, with power levels of 26 dBm (FCC) and 20 dBm (CE), similar to the previous model. However, the absence of 5.8GHz suggests that the control does not connect directly to the drone but through the goggles.
Hello, can you tell me if you know, DJI mini 4 Pro is compatible with DJI Controller 2, I ask because DJI Goggles and DJI Motion 2 works very well with DJI mini 4 Pro
Come on UA-camrs! A million of you does one product review. How about make a video to target. Why do we need so many controllers? DJI IS NOT being environmentally friendly. You UA-camrs must reach out to DJI to also have the controller 3 compatible with others drones like the Mini 4 and Air 3 Or the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. This seems so logical why hasn't DJI done this? It's all O4 so it should just be a software update.
yes. i agree with you. unfortunately just like you, I have no business relation with DJI and I just so happen to buy their products hehehe. Although some insiders said that they will add compatibility in the future. But, all of this is just pure business decision on their part.

Hard to find a review that covered this, thank you!

@@NSUserName yes. its not yet supported. probably in 3 months or more depending on the sales of the avata 2
Good day sir, new subscriber nga pala. Ask ko lang po if totoo ba na compatible nadaw yung fpv controller 2 sa avata 2?
salamat. yup compatible na. pero need mo iupdate yung fpv controller 2 sa latest firmware
One Question Bro;
Is DJI RC 3 compatible or possibility to be use to simulator?
Thanks..
I use the DJI Virtual Flight App
@@vernelfpv it could connected and works well?
Is the RC3 compatible with the original DJI FPV drone?
as far as I know it is not compatible. although I don't have the OG FPV Drone so I cannot test

Is FPV Controller 3 with Avata 1 compatible?

I cannot say as I don't have the mini 4 pro unfortunately. most likely it is compatible but you may check with DJI also
Is it possible that the controller 3 will be compatible with the avata 1?
