Nice video. For me, this is my second titan. I boost all the way thru the caustic cloud to get out of it as fast as possible. There are no goids in the cloud and doing this has never attracted any. You dont get those until you reach the asteroids close to the titan. As a solo player, you only get one pulse from the titan. When in a PG or open, you will get multiple as you stated.
@@matteomarchisiocaprioglio6409 Yes. I have heard about that. Sorta confusing for the newer AX Pilots tho, so I decided to skip that part for now. Next Titan, I’ll possibly squeeze that in to the video. Thanks for the tip commander. o7
@@battlevortex The first time I saw it used, it was a newbie run. Lol. That's a game changer for me because I can't fit heat sinks on my Mamba. Yes. I use a Mamba. Lol.
keep in mind though that if you are running a shielded ship, the ship will get hotter while the shield is recharging after that, so it's best to hide in the rocks until your shield is back at 100% and your ship has cooled back down.
@@tempusimperious5962 Nope. Hold my Lavian Brandy. I have a video coming out shortly to show you with the smallest ship I have been able to get to the core. The Cobra Mk3 unengineered build.
no engineers = heatsinks I don't have the right engineers unlocked to keep my active under thrust (weapons deployed) under 20%, so I run with as many heat sinks as I can strap to the ship. If you are efficient you can get 1 or 2 runs on the titan before you either need to restock or synthesize more. For reference I am using a python MK2 with 1 pulse nutralizer, 2 caustic sinks, 3 heatsinks. you only need 1 torpedo launcher, and I am maxing out AX missile racks from the rescue ships (you need at least 1 experimental weapon stabalizer to fit 5 AX racks or you can just run 4) everything else is rated for my fastes possible boost speed. You should be able to get close to 400 meters a second (boosting) without engineers if you optimize right. This is my first ever titan bombing and I consider my simple attempts noobie like. but on my good runs I can get over 6 mil a run.

@@Hailstrom2003 be sure to check out my AX Cobra MKV and my Cobra MKIII videos to see more ways to enter the maelstrom. o7
@@battlevortex I'll check it out.
if you activate silent running right before the pulse you wont gain much heat, then you can deactivate it to get back to normal heat levels

@ it is a nifty trick indeed. I use it in the next video. Worked like a charm.
@ Mamba was my first bomber too. Gg Commander.

Do you need engineers to even attempt a bombing run at all? Cause I don’t have any of them unlocked

Just imagine what they're actually doing to Earth. I bet there's interceptors taking out civilians.
If only we could land there and help them...
@battlevortex Now that I think about it...they've been capturing people alive.
Hmm. Aliens are weird.
That music... It rememrers to Metal Gear rising ost...
