Inspired by your videos i went back again to mwo. Got into a single match, in my black knight, saw 1 dude, took cover and for the next 40 seconds (starting when i broke LoS with the 1 guy i was shooting) i was pounded by lrms, lost 70% of armor. Powered down, got out, never to return XD

Love to see an Urbie in action! Although, I'm not the biggest fan of RACs. I mostly use them thematically, like on my Rambo phoenix hawk or my ED 209 Marauder II. Thank you for the video as always!
try picking them back up, they got a significant ROF buff(not a DPS buff, they lowered the dps to compensate) and its now the premier weapon for blinding enemies
There is a Battlemaster Variant that has -100% Jam chance. You can run 2 RAC2 or a RAC5 and hold the button down, even at full gauge it never jams and with 4 medium lasers, I've hosed out 1500+ point matches with it in T1. It's fun as shit but a bit tricky to pilot, but eats people alive.
Another great vid, Bara! You've inspired me to take my one out again with this build. I'm always afraid to put XL engines in my IS mechs, but I'm doing it more as I get more experience. Using good positioning to compensate. Have you tried one of the Battlemaster variants that has a -100% jam chance? You can hold the fire button down and it NEVER jams!
you can make a similar build with a LFE 170 and only the RAC5 (no lasers) and use the left arm/torso as a deadside to absorb hits and protect the RAC5. 3T ammo, 4 doubles, Endo/LightFerro
good playthrough. My urbie has a rac5 and LMG. Same problem...you get the arm blown off and its basicly game over. Also, sorry to hear about your Grandfather.
I wish they made a Legendary version of this, probably on a different chassis, where there’s a RAC 2 rate of fire bonus that's through the roof (Something ridiculous, like +50% or something), making the RAC 2 a laser beam of bullets.
Wish I had the snowball, I'd love to try my Rac 7 build on it. It runs 54 KPH speed tweaked, is a tiny bit light on armor, But a Rac 2 + a Rac 5 really shred things, Don't think I've done under 800 damage in it, Ammo caps out at around 1400 damage though.
Bara not sure if you know it, but if you press F (you pay more respect to your MECH) while aiming on a mech, your legs will align with your mech and doesn't ruin your aiming. See this a lot that you have to correct your aim whil turning your mech. (Also in Mechwarrior 5) The effect isn't that strong if you align your legs to the direction you look.
i wish the skill tree was more informative about what skills do and dont work for what, this whole time i thought cooldown helped get racs back online.
It's crazy how all you contain creators for this game. All do videos of the same thing. This build is nothing new. I've been running it for a very long time.

Our Clan has been running a lance of these at a time. For even faster fire, add a Targeting Computer MK 1. Ridiculous rate of fire.
Our group has been doing the same, although we run 2 rac2's.

@@Natman817 RAC bullet velocity, basically. A small sensor range upgrade, a targeting time speed increase, and a very small laser range increase

i just wish it had a torso RAC mount, the arm keeps getting shot off
