The courts in the United States have made the insanity defense almost always a complete non-starter. Even if you are a long-time schizophrenic who had to be watched 24/7 because of the depth of your insanity, if you kill somebody they are going to claim that you knew right from wrong if you even left the house or did anything that might stop them from arresting you. That's one of the big arguments against insanity is whether or not you cleaned up or left the vicinity because that means that you were aware that you did something wrong. There's some reason to that argument but having it always be one of the main criteria for determining insanity is just a bad base point. That famous lockdown episode about the crazy guy in Indiana State penitentiary who ate part of his mother's brain, well that guy was found to be not crazy and therefore punishable for his offenses though just watching that episode for a second lets you see that the guy is sttark raving mad even with all the meds they have him on and he had no idea whether what he was doing was right, wrong or something completely different. I think it's less than 1% of the people that try an insanity defense who end up in a medical Care facility rather than a prison. 5% of actually Stark raving mad, paranoid schizophrenic dudes and dudettes, who are at the point where they eat their own feces, are ever found not guilty by insanity. At this point it shouldn't even be on the books because it's not going to happen even for tragedies where really sick people do something awful during a psychotic episode. Not an anger-fueled episode but a truly psychotic episode where they don't know who you are or who they are and what they're doing. That's not enough to get you declared Innocent by reason of insanity.
Prosecutor: "what did you mean by you can't keep the key in the cage anymore?" Answer 1: I don't know Answer 2: I don't recall Answer 3: it was a lyric I read from a book Answer 4: I wanted to buy a hamster but knew I couldn't leave the key in the cage. Anything but ramble on is the correct answer.

I honestly couldn't tell he was insane, he was SO well spoken. The only weird stuff to me was him being paranoid about the corrupt law enforcement, which does happen now and again. What exactly did he say that was so crazy? I'm sure I just missed something important
I see what you did there... puns are pretty dope! Haha
Don't listen 2,what people say..
My personal opinion, I think he's smarter then people think. People think he's crazy because they can't digest what he is explaining.
I don't think you can explain your own claim. Everyone is smart. Dumb people more or less choose to be dumb, Ignorant people choose to be ignorant. Inteligence is not a static value people have that can actually be measured in any way that truly makes 100% sense... obviously some people have disabilities, but if your so good at understanding him, you should be able to translate for everyone.
He's not smart. He thinks he's fooling people. He's just a narcissist with no impulse control.
Yoooooo…. What ya hittin there Death🤫😵😵💫😵💫🫠🫠🤤🤤🫠🫠🤘😎🤘Thanx for staying on point w/ your daily(multiple)videos. Love’em all my brother 💯🤘😎👊
Give that man life under the jail
Lol Death! That face when he started talking about puppies I made the same face 😂 like what dude?..that was the clincher for me...ya he is definitely crazy!
I thought the same thing!
Appreciate the videos bro. I enjoy watching all your videos.
Just a random spark up in the middle of the video 🤣
Suppertime Bobby! Haha, your channel is brilliant and so very entertaining. Always the best to you and your family
Questions are mos def strange... I haven't finished yet but I thought that same thing right when you said it too.
Going to crazy jail can be way worse than regular. Where under a regular sentence you may serve 10 years and done...in the mental prisons you could easily serve life for the same exact crime.
And have your brain experimented on, your psychology over analyzed, pumped full of mind altering drugs (not the kind you like), and never have a clear thought again.
true
I understood everything he was putting down. Personally think he had a stint of psychosis and came back to his senses with 2 bodies on his bill. Unfortunate events.
You do have control of your actions during a psychosis it's your reasoning that goes out the window.
@@0BRAINS0 without the ability to reason do you think you can really say you have control?
@@WestsiderSC have you ever suffered from a psychotic episode yourself?
@@0BRAINS0 Answer the question. Don’t respond with one.
Without the ability to reason, are you able to be in “control” at the same time?
@@WestsiderSC you don't work in mental health
I'm no court psychologist. And this is why.
Shoutout to you OG Death you put so many people on this UA-cam Jank 💯 and really put em on game. Salute to you bruh
Objection, relevance. Objection, addressing the jury. Who's defending this schmuck?
Random innocent folks lost their lives that day and that is the real tragedy
They should add a charge for the constant bumping of the mic into his windshield
My grandmother used to work in one of those crazy houses.....they are just as terrifying as prison. The drugs they put you on and the so called treatments. If you werent crazy when you go in you will be soon
Indeed! What institution was she working for?
Ever heard of Crownsville Maryland ?
@@kevinfiess4494 do you live in a town called Rosedale?
@@0BRAINS0 No, I'm in northern VA. Crownsville institution is in Maryland.
@@kevinfiess4494 yes I know, I thought you were another person. That would be a long commute. Lol
I love how this dude is always complimenting the decor of certain court rooms. It’s hilarious. 😂
Keep em coming.... 💯 tell Bobby to quit calling n texting my wife bro..... I don't want things to go left but, man code
This channel rocks! I just recently started watching it. Great content for a older lady 🎉
"No need to cover your mouth, ya got 3 shields!" Made me spit my drink laughing lmao. Damn it Death, you play too much haha.
Not Josh confusing the criminal defense attorney with the prosecutor lmao. Brotha with as much experiences you have in the penal system. I would think it would be easy to delineate the prosecutor from the criminal defense attorney. Within 10 seconds it was clear that the man asking questions is the guys criminal defense attorney, proving to the court that his client is mentally ill by asking these questions.
My front door kinda gotta peephole.. peephole, bullet hole same thing... kinda....
Watched this stuff for years but YOU made me notice the decor and curtains and wood. Bahaha.
Ty🎉
That's my story and I'm "STICKIN" 🔪 to it !
Death dropped that F bomb!😆
I think it's the defense attorney questioning him. They're trying to set up an insanity thing.
Definitley. the DA wouldn't paint a picture of his family histoth and set him to expose his "insane" mind state this way
@@michaelbettisworth8938 absolutely
“Supper time Bobby” 😂😂
I like to smoke weed and watch your videos lock down23 and 1
Love the channel bro, I watch it ever dam and I love how you talk about the decor in the court room. Haha
Been watching your videos for a while... don't get this wrong but what your style of presentation in these vids reminds me of more than anything is: Beavis and Butthead watching music videos on old MTV! Even with the obvious difference being that your shit isn't necessarily supposed to be comedy, there's a common element of raw and easy genius in the honesty of the reactions...
Shit Mike Judges Beavis and Butthead is hall of fame comedy. That's a compliment considering deaths comedy is just organic and one of the many reasons he is bigger than ever all these years later.
He thinks he is so different but is just like everyone else 😂😂😂 except for holding back his anger which takes a lot more than just exploding!!!!
imagine watching this 20 years from now, in our space suits, kids going wtf is on his face!? What did they put on them in court!?
I'll ALWAYS support your channel. AMAZING CONTENT AS ALWAYS!!! 👍💯💜
Josh, you're hilarious sometimes.thanks for another fine 23&1 production sir.
That exit commentary was on point! Smooth like butter! Stay freeee 🤣🥃
Keep up the good content bruh! 🔥 Vids as always!
I was lighting up the exact moment death did you know us to well 😂😂we ready for this jank😂
This dude is nightmare fuel, evil.
The lawyer is attempting to make him look crazy and he is talking to him like a baby.
Always lovin' the videos brother 💪🏾
I've seen this one and I think 🤔 the prosecutor is trying to make their own TV show with this guy case. The prosecutor is looking for clout and undermining this unstable man
This is my ex fiance. He's not crazy. He's a narcissist and a manipulator. He knew exactly what he was doing here.
Wait, You're the nicole they question him about "being over" in the video?
You have no standards Nicole, what was his sentence?
Sounds like something an ex would say.. just saying
So your narcissistic, manipulative, murderer ex is actually sane? Interesting
He did it to get away from you.
I always felt that for truly heinous crimes we should reserve the sentence of life no chicken.
I still think people that are crazy should go to jail...
This guy might be crazy but he's not insane, there's a difference.
Explain the difference... He has some kind of mental illness going on. Most people just view "insane" more severe way of saying "crazy"...
Agreed, he's not criminally insane.
I watched this half asleep....ended up wide awake after watching it. 💯💥
Prosecutor: "what did you mean by you can't keep the key in the cage anymore?"
Answer 1: I don't know
Answer 2: I don't recall
Answer 3: it was a lyric I read from a book
Answer 4: I wanted to buy a hamster but knew I couldn't leave the key in the cage.
Anything but ramble on is the correct answer.
He doesn't seem crazy to me. He seemed pretty lucid.
troll
I love that this guy speaks Intelligently, can Comprise full intellectual rebuttals and the Jury of "MeRriCaNs" decided he was crazy. I just need to remember, Sound too smart for your own good.
So basically this guy's whole defenses I didn't do any of this stuff because I'm a nice guy and nice people don't do those sort of things and I don't remember doing any of it it's ridiculous the whole trial he's literally just explaining how he's basically bipolar or schizophrenic and not aware of his other self committing this crime because it's too horrific for him to admit
I don't think this man is crazy. I think he just doesn't GAF. 😮
psych nurse: I'm going with yes, he is.
Hope you have a fun and safe weekend bro. Love the videos keep up the grind.
“Supper time Bobby!” Hahaha
This guy Jake more than likely committed the crimes. however he's not crazy. he's actually highly intelligent and misunderstood.
He absolutely is crazy. By the very definition of the word, he is crazy. An entire team of educated people determined he was crazy. Tf would you know about it anyway
@@iliilliliiliilliliiliillil9137 why you so pissed off. Why you taking things so personal
I met a young lady once who was the same - though to my knowledge she never committed any crime. She held out her hands with her palms facing each other. She asked if I could see the fire in between her hands.
At 26 he left his dads on a bicycle... Couldn't have imagined that ever going left... lol
The modern Day horror story. And he has all the tell-tale signs of a psychopath.
Then at trial...
"Let's skip over my murder charge, and talk about what YOU'RE doing TO ME! This IS NOT FAIR. Almost as not fair as when my dad took my playstation controller, and MADE ME kill those people! What's wrong with you monsters?"
Can you guys just start wheeling the electric chair in the room...
I don't even believe in the death penalty and I wanted to personally stop him mid sentence, and just flip the switch. lol
"Yeah I still get a TERRIBLE relationship with my father, Can you BELIEVE he ONLY sends me $50 a week commissary? Only $50. Mom sends $100..."
Rip that bowl bro 🤣🤣🤣🤣 dude would kill again if he was free
j bird 🐦 jank pre roll
I was smokin watching the video 😂
Geesh, my man got a whole Dark Vador shield on.. LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
His elevator is stuck in the basement for sure!
Yep his elevator is definitely not reaching the top floor😂
You can see in his eyes and demeanour and how he speaks that he is mentally unstable
Where do you find these videos at dude? I found some court tv app, but it kinda sucks, or I just don’t know how to use it. I’m about 2 months into sub and I’m really enjoying your stuff. Thanks man!
Just when I was getting bored listening to the prosecuter...the video pans to Death lighting his smoke. THAT was phenomenal editing, lol.
Asking him what his mother said is hearsay is it not? I watched Johnny and Amber LOL
