    When it comes to summertime bass fishing, you really have to divide the summer into three main phases. Early summer, mid summer and late summer.
    During each one of these phases, the bass are typically doing something a little bit different so it is important to select the right lure that is going to fit the situation.
    It seems that during early summer that the bass can be aggressive and will hit baits like crankbaits, swimbaits, and topwater really well. These are my favorite lures for early summertime bass fishing.
    During mid summer, I will to to use a big worm and a jig every slowly to entice non active bass to strike. I will also you a large flutter spoon at this time to get suspended bass to bite.
    During late summer I typically go with finesse and power fishing techniques like a drop shot, small swimbait and a frog!
    BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

    Just found your channel and I love watching your videos. I’m a true bass fishing lady and have been bass fishing since my dad took me the very first time. I’m now 61 and just last year caught my biggest bad that weighed in at 9.6 lbs and still waiting on a bigger one. You remind me so much of my dad in his early years. His has now passed away and I know he would love all the new stuff that is out now because he loved to experiment on new baits and reels. I’m still trying to get the hang of a bait caster but all else fails I go back to my open face. Would love to see you do a video on how to operate a bait caster. Thanks for all the great content haven’t watched them all yet but really enjoy on watching you.

    Some good information. As a bank angler I can probably only perform 1/4 of these tips. I’ll try em out and hopefully be successful. Only have all these pressured public ponds to fish but I find it real hard to find em but I’ll play the game hard and forsure smack em some how. Thanks buddy. 🤙

    • @stoneysdead689
      @stoneysdead689 3 роки тому +1

      This time of year your best bet is really early- if you're in the south anyway- can't speak to fishing up north. Try early morning, and I mean crack of dawn- and fish the shallow water that's the closest to deep water. Now those terms- "shallow" or "deep" of course are relative to where you fish- but find the deepest point in the body f water you're fishing- now look for shallow, hard bottom close by. I don't know what your level of proficiency is but top waters work really well in these conditions- early morning. If the water is really still and calm you might want to try something like a Sammy- something a bit more subtle that won't over power the fish. A popper is my favorite because I can pop it in place and stay in the strike zone or I can walk it like a plug- whatever they want. If they're more aggressive than that and wnats something really moving then a whopper plopper or buzz bait might be the ticket. If you're bank fishing and you don't find them you can always just start walking with a buzz bait, throw it at every single lay down, stick, leave, pad, whatever out to say 5-6 feet depth- throwing mostly parallel to the bank, maybe at a slight angle out toward the deeper water. Take a senko as a back up bait, if they blow up but don't get it- toss that senko in right where they blew up. You'll get'em man.

    Have a question. I'm fishing in WA state. I'm wondering if I can expect the bass to react the same up here in clearer and cooler waters. They are also competing with multiple trout. Do you think a trout color would make them strike? Or is territory not an issue between the two
