    Thanks for this! I bent and broke the bolt connecting my clutch pedal to the clutch. Then I ended up stuck in 5th, so I just replaced the entire clutch. This video helped so much

    Replacement Clutch came as an assembly. Just put it in as is. Final assembly leaves the clutch spring lever (where the cable mechanism goes into the case) is loose and freely pulls out, leaving no tension at the clutch lever up top.. what did I do wrong?

    Thanks for the video, I didn't see if you replaced the seal as well.

    I need help :( I tried pressing down on the brake to wrench out the lock nut but it keeps turning :( Any tips? The bike is not on a stand, its on the ground. It’s also in 5th gear. What am I missing? :( Thank you in advance

      You'll need an impact wrench for that if it's that tight.

    Just switched my clutch out on my 2009 rebel…. After I did now my clutch gets stuck and I can’t pull it after riding for like 10 minutes and I have to rev match to downshift without the clutch to the point where I’ll stall out bcuz I can’t pull the clutch… any idea what it could be?

    question: today I tried to do the clutch with a mate, on his 88 Rebel 450. I noticed I didn't have the right socket for the clutch nut, so we put it all back together. Now the bike won't neutral itself while in gear (with the handle pulled). What could've gone wrong. I used the same torque specs as on my Vulcan750 clutch basket. and it seemed to fit fine without any force

      Sounds like It's your clutch actuator arm that the cable attached to, or the parts that attach to it, inside of the clutch cover.

    Sadly I can’t find any help for the newer 500s it’s pretty much the same but I’m stuck after I put the new disks in there’s still play in the pack I’m at a lose

      Did you measure the plates and fibers before and compare? I would try that, the new plates and fibers total thickness should be thicker. If it is and it still has play, something isn't sitting in there correctly. Just double check your work. Including the actuation bar.

    Is that's fixing hard shifting too??

    • @TepcoCycleRepair
      @TepcoCycleRepair  4 дні тому

      Depends, if you're clutch isn't fully disengaging when you pull it in it could make it difficult to shift. If it is and shifting it notchy, then no this won't fix it.

      No I didn't. I had one ordered but it didn't come in time. The original gasket stayed on the case in one piece and sealed back up fine.
