      Thanks Dale, sadly this is usually how all my projects go lol, most the time I'm just trying to look smart for the internet. Luckily I didn't have to bust out my biggest hammer!

    Read thru the comments and didn’t see what I was looking for so I’m sorry if I’m repeating some else’s question….. where did you get the airbag 4 link mount?

    • @onebullgarage
      @onebullgarage  Рік тому

      All of the brackets were made by me, 1/4" plate, some things I laminated with a layer of 1/8" on top of the 1/4" for strength & looks. Sometimes I buy a bunch of link tabs from thorbros.com to save time

    What air bags did you use?

    Why did you swap the front hubs?

    • @onebullgarage
      @onebullgarage  Рік тому

      They were dually wheel hubs, im not running a dually rear axle, so the front wheels would have stuck out way wider in the front, there was nothing wrong with them

      @@onebullgarage hmm. I am using a 2005 F550 dually chassis as the donor for my 1958 Chevy LCF project. I am concerned that the front axle (Dana Super 60) will be too wide. I am now wondering if I can swap the front hubs like you did to make it more narrow.

    • @onebullgarage
      @onebullgarage  Рік тому

      @@JosephYehle yes you can, just order SRW hubs

    • @JosephYehle
      @JosephYehle Рік тому

      @@onebullgarage Do you know how much narrower the SRW hubs are compared to the front hubs the axle originally had? Also, what year Dana 60 did you use?

    • @onebullgarage
      @onebullgarage  Рік тому

      @@JosephYehle about 4 inches per hub, not sure on exact size difference, if you have a dually chassis why not run dually wheels? Also I believe it was an 87' chevy k2500 axle
