Hey, guess it wasn't a premiere after all! AWESOME fight! I love Hugo (somehow) and him having a really difficult yet fair fight with a cool mechanic. Wild Sunny fits surprising well considering how grim and scary the character is. Awesome fight all around, and props to the devs for making this. Only issue is that Alex and Joel are let on, as it was explained Jason only brought them to save his own skin, but I'm glad they got a happy ending.
Yeaaah, IIRC, didn't Jason help Alex and Joel get on board the bus after using that pink pill to get a seat himself? Does he still nick it off Alex somewhere beforehand?

Well, if I may make a suggestion (assuming you and any other developers aren't finished updating Infinity Unfolds/aren't averse to a small update changing some dialogue), one potential thing you could do to still keep the happy ending while still making Alex, Joel, and Jason all getting onto the bus believable is to have one of the bus guards notice the pink pill on Alex while Jason is arguing with the other one to try and get on board. The guard could then say that the pill grants him and Joel passage onto the bus, with our main duo choosing to bring Jason in with them so so he can properly explain to them what the deal with Hugo was like he promised.
While it's nice to finally kick Hugo's shit in without his plot armor, I hope they don't change the story when the monster update gets released. It isn't lisa without agony and hardships.
It's amazing how just waiting a few seconds till the big, scary stout man with a disarming amount of strength, a surgeon's level of knowledge on the human body, and a serial killer's level of experience with scapels is out of arm's range before attempting to get up. Though granted, it's likely not easy to react or panic when you wake up in the middle of the night to find someone's just slaughtered everyone in your camp except you and your buddies _and that he's standing right next to you._
I mean, in this mod at least, Alex doesn't even need two folds to walk away from his encounter with Hugo without getting ruptured and stat debuffs. I recently just finished my first playthrough of Pointless with only 1 fold and found that you can still fight Hugo even then. The big difference is that he doesn't become 'The Doctor' after disarming his permadebuff attack and ultimately opts to cut his losses and back off as the fight with Alex and Joel drags out.
Necroposting, but my headcanon for why he goes crazy on you in 2nd fold, is because of things the player can't even see. Hugo makes a judgement, based on Alex and Joel's expressions, and considers if he can peacefully weasel his way out. Seeing their faces unafraid, and very much so ready to dispatch some folks for their goal, he keeps fighting - it's the only option he thinks he has. But on the 1st fold, due to their decisions and franchise having a lesser effect on them, they still see enough good in people to consider reasoning, coupled with being much weaker, but still competent fighters. So Hugo decides to cut his losses, and just leave - because this time, they will let him do that. And he knows that. On 0 folds, i think it's obvious he doesn't even remotely see them both as a threat. Hence why, as far as i remember, it results into a chase scene. 3rd fold is pretty self explanatory tbh.
it's too bad shurik's just a joke character and this was his punchline funnily enough, hugo's already got most of the sprites he needs for a perspective mod with the combo dial attacks, the devs were definitely itching for somebody to make one
I do not like how deep into the ui the lobotomizes hand animation goes. Now that I have noticed that detial it is creepy af. Joel makes brotherhood look even stronger than even gizmo jr. does.
It's more dramatic that way. Alex almost goes the way he went in the vanilla ending, but by sheer force of will (and some minor Franchise shenanigans) he stays upright with his blood and guts still mostly where they belong.
Waitin for third fold. Also, it was better to stun him and not disarm. Also third fold hugo is hardest one, since he has THREE phases(Third one has 8k hp)
