Man I wish it was possible to recruit Tony after all he's been through. Even if he had a really bad move set and did very little damage it would still have been nice to take care of the kid. He'd also probably have permanent depression throughout the game
Just have Tony be a key item like the Baby Fishman. Maybe for Joel? OK here's an idea: Tony came with you! Joel's Passionate Threat became Passionate Warning! Passonate Warning: costs 40 SP (same as Threat). Animates the same as Threat, but he's deliberately standing in front of and covering Tony. Message is "Joel sounds dangerously protective!". Same effects as Threat, but with a 90% to inflict Wary instead of 80% and a 50% chance to self-inflict Joel with Presence. But also a 2% chance to self-inflict Taunt instead. Tony might also be able to pull Alex back from the brink if he's on his way to the Third Fold, but then again he might also just be another victim...
Honestly I think they are both right. Geen has his morals, he doesn't think its right to knife kids. Salt is just your buddy, he probably doesn't want to hurt them (too badly) either, but he's gotta help a friend in need.
A one of these small, but tragic stories. I can't imagine how hard Tony's life was,no wonder why he is so harsh even on his friend, not to mention that they are in Downtown Olathe. Poor kids. Poor Tony.
The fact we don't say a word to Tony before or after killing Shammi. Who has been traumatized back to back. We witness these deaths (or the aftermath in Danny's case). And through it all our man Alex is like: 🗿
Yeah, that's something weird i saw, i think it doesnt go with the character, through the game we can see that Alex is one of the most decent ( Morally talking ) protagonist of all the Lisa fangames, and yet he doesnt react at any of these kids death, or not how it should
like, alex and joel coulda tried to tell tony about how things were going downhill (danny admits to having a jersey, which we can’t act on at all) and tony coulda just gone like “shut the hell up loser adults i don’t trust you” and it could play out the same way without it looking like our main characters just don’t give a shit about these kids
@@garfield336 Yeah right, like, it feels just lazy in that part, like the creators couldnt come out with something so they left Alex with 0 interaction at all until the kids are fucking dead, and then it goes "You did a terrible thing" to the old man And that's all
Well now you know what I meant by shami being the worst mutant ever. A KID MUTANT! The music that plays during his fight doesn't help either...it really shows even kids can escape from Joy. ( I'm going to be real for you when I first heard the theme and I saw what he looks like I legit didn't do anything for a couple minutes and just cried)

Can someone confirm me if it is true that Davy can apologize for burning the children and not fighting with him (supposedly he would also give you a free Molotov)
I think you need to find and speak to Davy throughout Downtown before he joins the Infinity Franchise. He'll consider Alex a friend and chooses not to attack him on the final scene, but I think you have a really narrow gap to do this.
All the stuff with the kids was very hard to watch. Tony's fate is left uncertain after you put Shammi out of his misery but I would hope he does alright for himself where ever he goes off to next.
u can actually beat them but it really doesn't do much, you get a joy and some other items and some exp otherwise unchanged. trust me I felt bad, but the fight is hard nonetheless. oh and you get some extra dialogue from joel and tony
it was super annoying to do, as you have to do it within a certain amount turns or else joel stops the fight short. Obviously i could just spam SP items and use minor iris repeatedly, but that's kinda cringe bro.
The Dev should have made it more clear but Wily Knight, The person you see in the entrance cave is responsible for killing Danny. You can see the body near him even though it's really dark. But you can check it on the graphics file tho.
I won't make a video but for Alex's new skill there is the fish man and the tape recorder you get after beating the fishman trade it with the trash trade guys and choose the scroll. For the best gear for Joel that title will fall to the azure coat you get it from trading in salt basil.
Geen : God damn, how the hell I can help you Alex, I ain't stabbing kids!

Easily the most tragic subplot in Pointless, kinda makes the Land Of Hintz look like Disneyland in comparison
