I've been a Queen fan since the 70's, got to see them in concert twice in the early 80s with Freddie, totally incredible. I saw Queen with Adam Lambert in Chicago in 2017 and it really was a spectacular show. I think Freddie would love the Queen shows with Adam Lambert. It's great to see Brian and Roger continue to play their music, with Queen more popular than ever! Long may they reign! Thanks for sharing this great clip.
Queen has been a part of my life forever and when Freddie died I cried, it took a long time to just get your mind wrapped around the fact that he was gone. And then there was that huge gap, yes Queen was doing stuff, but not stuff that was accessible to me so I was still feeling that gap of silence. And then Adam Lambert. He filled that gap, it was not the same and it isn’t meant to be, but we have watched him grow, we have seen hjs interactions with Brian and Roger, both off and on the stage, and it is been very touching to watch. They care for him and you get the feeling they watch out for him and guide him. And he does for them as well, I have seen performances when Roger might struggle when singing and Adam is right there to prop him up. Adam Lambert is known as a genuinely nice guy, and there is a poetry to this being him, living his life large and nothing hidden, just as the way Freddie’s should have been. These songs are not easy to sing, it actually opened my eyes even more to how talented Freddie Mercury was, and continues to be. Adam talks about how difficult they are to sing in some interviews but he has the voice and the rocker vibe to pull it off. The legacy of Queen is a big and huge deal and it has grown even more because of this. T ✌🏻
Very well said. You are right, Freddie will go down in history as a legend, they'll never be another. Adam has a great voice, he's said in many interviews he could never replace Freddie. Brian and Rodger chose him. They tried Paul Rodgers but found he was not a good fit because he was such a great blues guy...much respect to all parties involved that they parted on good terms.
Fabulous reaction, thank you! I adored Freddie( and still do) but Adam is the only one who could become Queen’s lead singer! He can do it all whilst showing reverence to Freddie & allowing the band to keep their music alive for a whole new generation of Queen fans! ❤️😊
BORHAP - a song of a lifetime that will live on for eons and eons to come❤👑❤. I think Adam is doing a great job. He's respectful and has a great voice, but as soon as Freddie's voice comes in, everything becomes secondary and makes it even more evident that he already had it all almost 50 years ago. What a charismatic performer Freddie was and this shines through even to this day❤️👑. But I can respect the fact that Roger and Brian chose Adam and together are bringing their legacy to a younger audience. And isn't it amazing that Roger and Brian still are able to perform on stage? It's always an emotional rollercoaster to witness. Thank you HAP for sharing your personal experience🙏👑🕺🏻🎤❤️
I absolutely loved this! I have not seen this performance before and it was awesome. So touching with Freddie💜. I have seen Queen with Adam Lambert perform live twice and it was wonderful to see Brian and Roger doing what only they can do with Queen music. Adam also did a great job. Thanks for reacting to this. I was with you through all your Queen reactions and still believe you are one of the best reactors on UA-cam. So fun to see another Queen one from you. Take care.❤️
That was breath taking! The Japanese absolutely have a special place in their hearts, for sure. Thank you Hap for bringing use this fantastic performance.
As Adam became more and more integrated in the music and the band he sang the entire song. It was great both ways. The stage and opening of this last tour was incredible! Their shows get more and more elaborate. A fantastic show!
hi Hap! Adam's got a wonderful voice & does justice to Queen's legacy. I've been to two of their concerts and they were super! Still, there's a totally 'something else' aspect when Freddie comes in. That's the magic man. When an aura comes through in a video, you know he's the real deal .
I was able to feel Freddie's presence in this performance. How they made it work was just so thoughtful for the fans... ❤ loved it and loved your reaction. Thank you!
A wonderful performance!, done with respect to Freddie and the song! Adam did a great job with Brian and Roger! Loved it! Yes it was amazing!! And so was your reaction, Hap! Fantastic ! 💜🎵👑
So nice to see you again, HAP! Loved the reaction! They did a nice job incorporating Freddie's magical spirit. There is only one thing I would have changed and that is the left hand piano run in the transition from the end of the rock section. I think they should have incorporated Freddie doing the run as this was an important part of the song with Freddie. I do love the way they brought him back at the end though. I actually thought Brian was struggling a bit, if I'm honest... but WHO CARES?! IT'S BRIAN MAY! This performance brought tears to my eyes. It's been hard for me to watch Queen perform without Freddie and John but this was wonderful. Thanks Hap!
Very well done, great performance. Adam is one of my fave’s, and so are Queen. Great together as you see and hear. Thank you for the great reaction. 👍😋
Freddie is still included in every one of their shows. Not exactly the same way on Bohemian Rhapsody. Adam ends the song now. But Freddie is ALWAYS part of the show ❤
Great reaction! And the Red Special was what attracted me to Queen first -the singing guitar 💖- and now I love them all. Thank you for this video. Awesome.
I saw the emotion in you. I also felt the emotion. There's just NO ONE like Freddie. He will go down in history as a legend. No disrespect to Adam. He has a beautiful voice. He's no Freddie, no one is. On that note, thank you for your respectful reaction, Hap ❤ ✌️ ☮️ 🥷 👑
Adam doesn’t try and be Freddie. He’s a fan just like you. That’s why it’s Queen & Adam Lambert. Adam just wants to try and sing the legendary songs with justice, & he must do so, cause ADAM has now been with QUEEN over 11 yrs. No disrespect just FACTS! ✌️
@Graniepanies no disrespect taken. 😊 I guess watching Hap light up when Freddie sang was more my point. I know Adam is not trying to be Freddie, I loved the respect shown to Freddie in this particular video ❤
You might want to also check out Dan Vasc’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Pretty amazing. Hint while watching the video…..don’t close your eyes or you’ll miss it. 😃. Dan sings all of the parts.
Sorry to make an off topic post. HAP, I really like your Angelina Jordan reactions. You didn't react to her for a long time. She just released a video singing "If I were a boy", song famous by Beyoncé, on her official YT channel. She was asked to do it via the co-songwriter of the song, Toby Gad, in his new project called "Piano Diaries" and Toby himself play piano in the video. It's a fantastic performance. Hope to see you react to it. Thank you very much.
Brian & Roger do get a lot of stick from some who see them tarnishing Queens memory by continuing without Freddie, but I don’t see it that way. The fact they are still touring & being “out there” has helped keep Freddie very much in the public consciousness, perhaps now more than ever. Certainly in 80’s it wasn’t really “cool” to be a Queen fan at school, but now it seems there’s all age groups that are fans. If you’d have told me in November 91 that Queen would be this popular over 30 years later I’d have laughed. Freddie is still very much part of the live shows which is brilliant, some bands whose members have died never mention them at all…
You should be reacting to who wan't to live forever. I think the version Adam do is actually better than freddies. His volcal on that is CRAZY. And more sad feelings than freddies version.

NOBODY can replace Freddy but Adam is the perfect choice!

Love your reaction too ❤
“DON’T LET AGE STOP YOU FROM YOUR TALENTS”….
THANK YOU, HAP!!!🫶
I saw Queen live in California in 1976. They brought out an up and coming band to warm up the crowd…..Aerosmith! What a show, I remember every minute.
A wonderful performance!, done with respect to Freddie and the song! Adam did a great job with Brian and Roger! Loved it! Yes it was amazing!! And so was your reaction, Hap! Fantastic ! 💜🎵👑

As far as vocals go in my opinion Adam is equal if not better.
