Great video County Line Outdoors!!!... Too bad I can't use them where I'm at but that was a really cool 8 knot!!. That was a big beautiful fish!!!.... Good job buddy!!👍👍😀😀🎣🎣
Thanks man! Is your state regulations against trot lines, jugs and bank set poles too? Or just limb lines? The figure 8 knot is one of my must used knots! How I attach the line to my reels, limb lines, etc. Part 2 and 3 coming soon! Thanks for watching!
MTRUNK 85 thanks man! I appreciate you watching! Yeah I love jugging to at night in the summer! Check this one out! ua-cam.com/video/lRqYq0ujtRA/v-deo.html Caught this monster a couple days after making this video!
Thanks for the straight forward vid, cuz. Good information without a lotta excess chin music. Looks to be a "Carolina Rig". Works great for lots of fish. Flounder hate it in a rip with a pogey or minnow. Lookin for the next vid. d:^)
Thanks I appreciate it! Yeah your right about it being like a Carolina rig! Just beefed up lol! Thanks for watching and limb lining season is just around the corner. Hope to beat that 50 plus lbs flathead I caught in March’s video! Tight lines!
Your exactly right! Location is key! As well as being close to structure. Part 2 is coming soon! Limb lining for my area is on fire around February through April. Thanks for watch! I appreciate!
Lol funny you say that! Actually go watch the kayaking big catfish and the limb lining video. Both have that happen in them lol! Hurt then funny now lol! Thanks for watching buddy!
Jeremy Simpson I haven’t made it yet. Work took out of my area messed up my timing on the follow up videos. I plan to make it still once I’m back home. To answer your question: tie to limbs that have some flex or give. I like the figure 8 for attaching to the limb. Double over hand knot works too for some people. Are you setting in a river or a lake?
County Line Outdoors thanks for the reply bud! I’m going to try my luck on the chatawatchee (spelling?) river down here around Panama City Florida. I’m originally from Oklahoma but the Military brought me out here and I haven’t been cat fishing Spence I was a boy. Got my self a small Gheenou and figured I would motor out and see what happens
Jeremy Simpson thank you for your service! I have seen that river but never fished it. I’m in Mobile Al. Try different depths of your baits. I set mine from 3-4 ft under the water down to 2 ft off the bottom. Couple trips you will have a pattern. I catch more flatheads higher in the water column and blue cats deeper. But maybe that’s just my waters.
STREETERBOYZOUTDOORS minimum 150 lbs test nylon trotline string. I have everything I use in the description of this video. If you watch the video after this one where I catch the 45-50 lbs flathead. I was using 150 test. About to do a video on how to set limb lines.
Never really paid much attention to size on the swivels. I normally try to have the biggest lbs test swivel I can find. Think last ones I used was 150 or 175 lbs test. If I run out of swivels hanging lines I’ll just not put a swivel on. They help with the bigger catfish. Not so important with smaller fish. Hope that helped and thanks for watching!
Sorry if you like catfish but just leaving those fish hooked and being able to comeback later and find a catfish still on the hook shows how discussing catfish are
County Line Outdoors, if yall didnt know it, yall fixin too. UA-cam/Google is hindering yalls video. Making it so it dont do nothing but load forever. Im on Wi-Fi and most other channels will load and play. Yalls aint loading.
Awesome rig man, very simple and efficient!
That’s right! Catches some big fish and a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!
That's pretty cool, almost like a lighter duty gator line! I'll be waiting for part 2 buddy! Let's Go!!!!
Yeah pretty much! Got 30 limbs lines out tonight! Hope to have a good video coming soon! Lol
The swivel is a must. I seen guys make them and catfish twist themselves completely out of the water.

MTRUNK 85 thanks man! I appreciate you watching! Yeah I love jugging to at night in the summer! Check this one out! ua-cam.com/video/lRqYq0ujtRA/v-deo.html

Good lookin fish man! Great info!!
Thanks! Yeah it was! Part 2 and 3 coming soon! Thanks for watching!
I tend to use modified twitch up snare systems for this.no tree required
I’d be very interested seeing that technique.
Some time the best looking spots don’t have trees. Thanks for watching!
Is this the snare?
ua-cam.com/video/K1hFKgnon7g/v-deo.html
@@countylineoutdoors1724 where I live the banks are either kept clear of trees or severely overgrown. Makes limb lining pretty hard without a boat!
Hey man. Great video. I'm surprised you guys did not get barbed from the catfish.
Lol funny you say that! Actually go watch the kayaking big catfish and the limb lining video. Both have that happen in them lol! Hurt then funny now lol! Thanks for watching buddy!
Do catfish get too big to eat? 🤘
46:00 fish say..FUCK THIS SHIT IM OUT....LOL! Great catches guys!
Dude that sure looks like it would work!
Enthusiastic Fisherman has got me for year! Lol

Nice video ✌️
Lmao he didn't want to be in that cooler😂😂😂 he knows its a casket😂😂
Never could find the following video... how do you tie them to the tree?

Is there a certain size of line that ya use?

My favorite hooks
Mine too! Most reliable I have used! Thanks for watching!
What size swivel you use

Wait what size swivel

Thanks! War Eagle!
I 👍the video
Why does everyone say troutline? It’s trotline. Trot trot trotline. But this video was pretty good.
Lol I can see that! My southern voice probably doesn’t help lol!
Thanks for watching! Try to work on that or just stick to limb lines! Lol
This will work with small catfish but I wouldn’t try this with anything trophy size
Works for me every time. Caught 50lbs+ every year. CPR on 30lbs+.
@@countylineoutdoors1724 30 is a lil guy. I’ve had an 18/0 hook straightened on the Mo river.
@@discoveryoutdoorskcfishing236 need to visit your waters lol. We have a huge commercial fishing industry here. Anything over 50 lbs is a monster.
@@countylineoutdoors1724 All joking aside you should. 30 is an every trip event. 50-70 is a once a month deal and a 85-100 is rare but happens.
War Eagle!!
0:46 made me laugh
they were big i wouldn't thin you wood eat that big
I don’t go over 40 lbs with catfish. Unless they can’t be released healthy enough to survive.
Gary. Doesnt matter. Its contaminated water !! Fish is not safe to eat period !!
Dang ..
