Please tell me which glass do you use in your tasting videos?.....Also, I have a 1970 I'Evangile to open, any idea what I should expect from it?...cheers
These are Sydonios brand.
1970, if the bottle is in good condition and always stored properly, you could expect a very mature wine with lots a tertiary notes. Still some structure but not many fruits left. But will be a joy to drink for a 1970’s wine.
Nice. It Got the blason d’evangile 04. Also Very Very good. Do you have an idea whether or not the first wine is much better? Because the blason is more affordable

Bedankt voor uw reactie, goede vraag. Op zich is dit zoals alle andere domeinen het geval. Je kan het bekijken via verschillende aspecten, als startende wijndrinker zou ik eerder gaan voor de Blason omdat deze sneller toegankelijk is dan de Grand vin en aangezien je palet nog niet zo getraind is zal je het verschil in "Kwaliteit" niet proeven. En met kwaliteit wil ik niet zeggen of het beter is of slecht.
Ik zou ook de 2de wijnen opendoen terwijl je wacht op de Grand Vins tot ze de goede leeftijd hebben of die speciale gelegenheid/tasting.
l'Evangile staat er ook voor gekend dat ze zeer lang kunnen liggen en ben al meerdere keren verrast geweest door 76 dit jaar.
Wist je ook dat we zelf wijn importeren Roeland? We importeren enkel fijne en exclusievere wijnen waar we de enige in zijn die het importeren.
We hebben momenteel 3 rising stars in onze portfolio en uiteraard prijs kwaliteit echte knallers en zullen binnen 5 jaar zeker grote namen zijn als ze zo vooruit blijven gaan.

Great video! If you had the choice between drinking L'evangile 2009, L'evangile 2010, La Conseillante 2010 or a Leoville Las Cases 2003 - which would you pick to drink this year?
Hard choice because Left bank wins most op the time so he should be left out and due to it’s age and vintage is perfect to drink now. But from the 3 Pomerols i would pick the 2009 l’evangile to drink this year.
