It’s like English, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. What an awesome language!

My first lenguage is Spanish and I understand almost everything because Papiamento is a mix of Spanish and Portuguese mostly
@Island Mike yeah but he is right. It is mainly Spanish and Portugues with some English and Dutch words
@Island Mike yes its my native tongue. It was first a Portugues creole and it has a lot of Spanish influence. It also has words from English and Dutch. Which French words to you hear?
You're right.
60% spanish/portuguese
30% dutch
10% galician, english, french, arawak indian, african etc
@Island Mike You call "African" a language? Why are you giving that man a hard time summing up an entire language on a simple UA-cam comment. It's not worth the hostility eh?
Cheers.
Can we just say it’s a creole and end it
This sounds so much like Spanish. I could understand the audio more than the Dutch subtitles.

Roberto Herrera
Suena un poco catalán o portugués
Hello i understood almost everything because i speak criollo, portugues, espanhol
Patrick Benjamin Verdade
Escravo africanos (Cabo Verde e Guiné-Bissau) levados nessas ilhas do Caribe. Elas pertencem a Holanda.
true! it's a mixture of a few languages....that why we can speak ALLOT of languages!
Muy gracioso. Solo aprendo español y entiendo mucho del papiamento.

The words derived from dutch. Ze zijn veranderd

Thats what Papiamento is lol
You're right. 90% spanish portuguese and dutch
Honestly I couldn’t understand much except a few words but even then its sounds different. I speak Spanish but this sounds like a mix between Dutch Portuguese and Spanish all jumbled up together so that’s probably it doesn’t sound like natural Spanish
60% spanish/portuguese
30% dutch
10% english, french, arawak indian, african languages
ejmobiel no wonder it’s mixed
Uma mistura de Português, espanhol e Holandês

this is like broken Portuguese.
60% spanish/portuguese

The Tongue, in all honesty, is like Ladino, but heavuly creolised. Thus, it is more related to Old Spanish & Old Portuguese/Galician before Spanish began really drifting in the 15th Yearhundred. Thus, it should be said that it kinned to both Spanish and Portugese is, however not in the Manner most bethink.
True Arubian peoples are the black not Caucasians.
Kennedy Wong Wrong, The true Arubians Are tri-racials which consists of European, Amerindian and African admixture. The Amerindian is the most dominant gen so Arubans will mostly look like light amerindians. The African Influences are less dominant because there weren'r a lot of blacks living on Aruba compared to the other islands.
their very similar to a lot of brazilians, the phenotype, all of them, black white and tritacials, inthink its the same mixture
even the portuguese accent is the brazilian one in papiamento
True
Wrong. They're not black
ejmobiel shit up ugly
