About Arcane: Arcane dives into the delicate balance between the rich city of Piltover and the seedy underbelly of Zaun. Tensions between these city-states boil over with the creation of hextech - a way for any person to control magical energy - in Piltover; and in Zaun, a new drug called shimmer transforms humans into monsters. The rivalry between the cities splits families and friends as Arcane brings life to the relationships that shape some of League of Legends' famous champions including Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor.

their Voice acting was so fucking good the most incredible part was when Powder was begging Vi to come back and she voicecracked
that scene made me sob.

Well there is more talent in that scene than I've seen in a Hollywood or big budget modern production in years if not decades.
That's crazy how much different his normal voice is from Silco's elegant, gravelly voice. That's talent right there. Powder's VA gave an Emmy worthy performance at the end of Ep 3 too.

Jason and Silco both have that same smooth,controlled energy to their voices though and a similar fashion sense.
Silco is awesome tbh, I really love his backstory because you can clearly understand his motives and his vision despite not necessarily agreeing with how he intends to achieve it

Mia and Jason both knocked it out of the park in the first 3 eps. The drowning monologue and Powder's last scene with Vi....absolutely amazing.
Holy shit I hear the powder in her voice, did not expect that voice to come from her lmao. I want to add she did a helluva job with the first three episodes voice acting a kid, perfect portrayal of what a kid would actually act like in those situations.
Yes I was laughing because it sounds like powder is talking herself 😭
Powder having a meltdown and begging for vi to comeback made me cry again for the first time in almost 9 years, it's just gut wrenching a young kid who thought she had done something good and ended up killing her entire squad who are essentially his step brothers and her step dad, feels bad man.

I can hear the similarities in Silco and Jason, but it surprised me to hear how Mia’s voice was very similar to Powder’s. Both of them did an amazing job in the first three episodes.

both of them did such a fucking phenomenol job, silco's voice is so cold yet calm and daunting while powders crying in the last part of episode 3 is so convincing and heartfelt, it cuts through bone
2 top notch VAs for sure. Especially Mia's performance at the end of Act 1. Just so good and full of emotion.
She had done this when she were 11year old before arcane was aniamted
I never doubted for a second that the characters in Arcane were real when I watched act 1.
But, the absolute rawness that Mia Sinclair was able to muster combined with the animation. Man. I have never seen anything like it.

Silco and Jinx are two of my favorite characters of all time for any show man. Their dynamic and relationship is something I've never seen before.
Not gonna lie, I wasn't initially all that interested in Silco from the trailers, but once I actually watched Act 1, he definitely grew on me a lot.
Idk if this'll be seen or not by the VA's, but you both did such an amazing job and did wayyyy more than just "pull your weight." Even though Silco is the "Villian" of this story in a sense, Jason gave him such depth and a sense of relatability. You could just hear the emotion in many scenes, and as for Powder, oh my word. Mia KILLED it. That voicecrack in EP 3 with Vi walking away still has me tear up EVERY time I hear it. That scene honestly gets me every time and is probably my favorite moment of the whole series; truly masterclass. They both, as well as everyone who worked on this show, did more than a PHENOMENAL job in my humble opinion. :D
This is already one of the best shows I've every watched and there's only 3 episodes.
And the fact that Mia's little brother loves league and his sister is playing Powder in the show must be really awesome

She got the job at age 10 so she may have been younger when actually recording her lines.
Her voice is so nice. And Jason creates a believable villain.
Mia needs to win every award for which she’s eligible (and maybe a bunch for which she isn’t eligible) for her performance in episode 3. Holy Christmas
I read that an award for best acting actually went to Ella Purnell.

That isn't a coincidence. The animators took notes from Disney and referenced the actual voice actors when building and animating the characters. If you compare many of voice actors to their animated counterparts you'll find a lot of similarities in appearance.

I like Silco and Since he didn’t get that big of a backstory it makes him a little more intimidating, right? I mean he did say he drowned and he also said that Vander was like “Brothers” but we got small glimpses to a big backstory

Actually, Powder is around 11 or 12 according to the voice director and Mia was 10 when she got the part. I don't know how old she was when she actually recorded.
