A very informative reaction to my favourite singer, performing one of my favourites.
I'd like to mention, as well as his voice, his facial expressions, the physical movements of his body, hands (sometimes fingers), which, to me anyway, help to express the meaning and emotion of the song; lifts his performance to the nth degree. A performance that fills the heart and lightly touches the soul. I could never get tired of listening/watching him.
I loved hearing a coach with a Scottish/British Isles accent. (I'm in the UK.)
Also, you were informative and, at the same time, had a good balance, not to be over intrusive to the actual performance. - Just what was needed.

Thank you Sam for clearing that up, most use the falsetto and head voice interchangeably. But you are one of a couple who have stated that it is not falsetto.

Ok so 2 things. Your explanation of falsetto I’d never heard before! So how on earth does he do his D8 dolphin whistle note WITH vibrato you reckon?? He does it in Unforgettable Day at Gakku (the note was an over correction/mistake but there’s bloody vibrato on it at the end! Would love to hear your thoughts on that. Also just have to say u are missing out when u pause but don’t go back a little bit before u start back up. His pauses & transitions, what he does on either side of the pause in real time adds chills & nuance u are sometimes missing when u just continue where u left off.

Please louder the sound of Dimash. When you speak I have to turn down the sound and to hear him I need to get the sound up..
Also, when you stop. When you then start again go a little back. So many of you miss important voice changes cos you dont go a bit back.

Those really high notes are done in flageloet not whistle. Flageloet is high extension of head voice. Watch Caleb Coles talk about it if you are interesed

She wrote the lyrics many years ago to this classical baroque melody that cannot be assigned to any particular artist with certainty. Today it is one of the most popular works of “classical music”. Its been a while brother. Started to think you gave up on Dimash. 😂 not really.
Dear Sam, this was Dimash's nightmare performance as the russian celebs deliberately did something EVIL while Dimash was performing! But this video was edited and cleared up for TV, the real sound was different, not Dimash's voice, but the background noises and voices of the technical staff speaking during the performance were too loud that Dimash could hardly hear the music... russian celebs hate Dimash for his popularity around the World and in Russia as well!
Wow, that’s crazy! I sensed something off from the get-go - it sounded like he couldn’t hear the piano and started singing too soon. The timing seemed off for the whole first part of the song.

That comment was really not necessary, and diminishes the performance of Dimash. If you must know, 99% of venues have some sort of technical issues. Which singers are always aware and work around it. Pointing out tech issues is very petty, and is negative towards the singer’s ability and performance.
You pause it way to much, sorry I'll tell you like it is. Not being rude but we can hear it, so don't really need it interfered on every 5 secs. Thanks T
