- vanolarm.co.uk designed to protect your Van and contents prior to the damaged being done. Security includes, Smart App operation, Vibration tech, Sound listening tech, 113db siren, door sensors, Geofencing and live tracking. Possibly the best value Van Alarm in the market today?
To arm the main unit to listen for noise and vibration involves using the app on your phone (no key fob) which means many taps on your phone everytime you get in or out your van. You could just leave it armed while you're driving but you get loads of texts saying it felt a vibration or heard a noise.
Each time you tapped the van, it was where the alarm was positioned. Thieves don't do that, sods law, they will go for the area where the alarm isn't positioned, so you should show various points around the vehicle with a tap on the front windscreen for example. Payback for traffic wardens...
In all seriousness, I would like to have seen taps in random areas, even at the wheels, if the alarm goes off there that would be impressive. The cab door handles, the glass areas and the mirrors. Not that The mirrors are a target, but it would show the versatility of the alarm.
Anyone can put an alarm on the inside of a door, tap it where it is located and expect a result.
My alarm has stopped working. It sets but it says it's offline all the time and doesn't work on vibrate or when I try a door.😢
Also good for garage doors
I park on the road, and I can imagine people pulling the door handle just to be a nob. Can it be set different? I wouldnt mind a text or call as soon as someone tries the handle without an alarm cus if they are trying the handle they are up to no good anyway and I would like to know.
Surely that will go off every time a boy racer goes past or a truck.
Sorry for the late reply. No, never had a unit returned due to false alarms. As well as clever false alarm tech, you can also set 7 levels of sensitivity
Exactly what I'm thinking
Struggling to set up the alarm ? not sure what app on iphone to use as cannot find one under vanolarm
get the message sue! he's busy!!
Class ring tone :)
It's non coventional we will grant you that but for reason, the varied ring tone etc actually draws more attention than traditional alarms.
Hey. Is it possible to reduce the sensitivity of the audible alarm as we don’t want to disable it everytime we drive as sometimes not in a area with reception. we ONLY use the audible alarm feature which we are hoping will ONLY trigger when tamper alarms on doors are set off. It’s seems we can’t drive the transit without the audible alarm being trigger falsely
Ty n is it easy enough for me to install myself? I work on cars a lil but dont know much about electrical
where did Laura "pop" out too? she was gone for 30 mins!!
Is there an ongoing subscription fee?
No, use your own sim or you can use our pay as you go, £30 max per year and cancel any time
So how many times did you use the word so
I'd say it's a nightmare on a windy day
Rocking motion doesn't activate the sensors and with 7 levels of sensitivity than we have never had a full Vanolarm system returned due to false alarm (with 7.5k systems sold to date)
Dose the alarm go off during windy days or when cars drive past?
I've not experienced that yet.
Hi can you send more than one # command at a time to the unit within 1 SMS
My van already has a tracker so I don't need that, do I still need to pay for a sim card for the notifications to work?
Also how often do you get false alarms? As it looks like its very sensitive? I've had a vibration based alarm before that went off with strong wind and noisey cars going past and annoyed the neighbours
wonder how many false alarms during the day whilst trying to complete a days work? why can the geofence not be be based on the last point alarm was set as i do not work in the same place daily, which means i would have to set my geofence daily, does not mention monthly subscription costs either
Monthly cost?
Hi, No monthly subscription costs (only mobile network costs via your own sim provider or if buying one of our sim £10 on average every 4 months).
No, never had a unit returned due to false alarms. As well as clever false alarm tech, you can also set 7 levels of sensitivity
Why didn’t you do the live text and message again if you missed it?
How long does it take to get a call or text?
So you only get a call and text if van goes out of the area?
Will all sirens go off at same time? What range can sirens be kept apart so they operate as intended?
So, this set up is pretty descent compared to vanmate however, you say from £99, how much for this set up exactly?
really depends on how many entry points you want to cover, can raise to £180 for all in
Is it possible to put sensors for the front doors?
Also was wondering if it's possible to and audio when sensors go off?
Hi Vinnie, yes absolutely siren sensors can be installed in the cab area.
Can you transfer alarm easy if say you bought a new van ?
Yes, very easy, you'll just need a new set of double sided 3m application pads/tape
how do you set two audible units to one remote ?
Please see our other video here for linking sirens to a single fob ua-cam.com/video/CArHNei017E/v-deo.html
Can we ask you to email us do to the security measure involved

I little confused with which package to get, i want to secure 3 doors which are 2 side doors and my back doors on a van, so which options do i need to choose from the drop downs on the drop downs on the website?
Hi Sorry for the late reply, we don't tend to monitor our UA-cam chat page we're afraid. We hope we were able to help out via Email or messenger in the meantime?
Don’t bother
Just got mine today
The alarm is so quite I couldn’t even here it inside my house 10 metres away
Absolute waste of money
Can I ask how you track your Van should it be driven outside of the Geo Fence location? On your website it says there is real time GPS tracking
Thanks ..
Sorry for the late reply, the alarm comes with an App and you can track the vehicle in real time on the app. The system sends you an alert if the vehicle goes outside the geofence area, senses vibration or hears the alarms being activated.
You can log on our App and see the vehicles location instantly via google maps etc
The GPS tracking is very poor quality, while the van is sitting at home it regularly jumps 13km away for hours on end then jumps back..... Many times through the night so you get lots of false alarms.
When you're pissed all asleep day shift the whole shit WiFi smartphone alarm SMS is all the same alert warehouse WiFi SMS did you hear that specific set Alarm alert Zedge???
Wake up call 🥺😂
