How do you change the sensitivity on the alarm? And also if the pre- warning goes off but not the main alarm, does it reset itself after a few minutes?

I park on the road, and I can imagine people pulling the door handle just to be a nob. Can it be set different? I wouldnt mind a text or call as soon as someone tries the handle without an alarm cus if they are trying the handle they are up to no good anyway and I would like to know.

After the second pull, when the alarms activates do you need to stop it only manual with the remote or after some period it'll stop & re-arm again? Like.. if it goes ON it'll stay ON & produce sound for 1-2 minutes & then stop by itself or.. only manual stopping? Cuz for example I may not be in the area, I may be at work or somewhere on a vacation etc.

I actually use this in my work van and i works great 👍🏻. Occasionally get a false alarm from an oversized loud car exhaust driving by but for the money does the job. Only thing I will say is why make a product with a logo with the screw in the bottom if you have to fit it upside 🤷🏻‍♂️ no thought gone into that at all.

That'll soon fall off the door. Those stickers are crap on damp, unvarnished wood. Better it has tabs on it so that small screws can be used.

Is it possible to reduce the sensitivity of the audible alarm as we don’t want to disable it everytime we drive as sometimes not in a area with reception. we ONLY use the audible alarm feature which we are hoping will ONLY trigger when tamper alarms on doors are set off. It’s seems we can’t drive the transit without the audible alarm being trigger falsely

I don't seem to be able to set the Audible alarm ...I am pressing on and it says success but when i look it still says off any ideas

Each time you tapped the van, it was where the alarm was positioned. Thieves don't do that, sods law, they will go for the area where the alarm isn't positioned, so you should show various points around the vehicle with a tap on the front windscreen for example. Payback for traffic wardens... In all seriousness, I would like to have seen taps in random areas, even at the wheels, if the alarm goes off there that would be impressive. The cab door handles, the glass areas and the mirrors. Not that The mirrors are a target, but it would show the versatility of the alarm. Anyone can put an alarm on the inside of a door, tap it where it is located and expect a result.

I had asked my wife to get me this for Christmas as I was already looking at getting an alarm for my van, and happened to come across this company. I looked at their website and was sold, because they advertise pretty much the exact thing I wanted. Given the price of it, I wasn’t expecting something that was all singing all dancing, but I would actually still expect it to work to some degree of reliability, and also have some amount of durability, given the nature of the product. Or maybe I should say “two” products. This product is advertised and sold as a complete system, but it is anything other than that. It’s actually two separate alarms, one of which is advertised as a shed alarm on alibaba, which is where both products are advertised, and considering that they offer company branding on wholesale sales, I would say that this is where these products come from. The gsm unit has been faulty from day one, and while trying to contact vanolarm, I quickly found that there is no possible way to contact them directly by phone, so everything has to be done through message, where I have basically been told that they disagree with my concerns with the system and it’s reliability. The SIM card comes disconnected from the device most days, therefore rendering the advertised system useless. The app is also terrible, as there is quite a lot of faffing around to arm/disarm it, and there is no way to know if it is armed or not. There is also no way to tell if the device is even being charged in the app. I have read the trustpilot reviews and I completely agree with all of the 1 star reviews. I have had the exact same experience with this company and I would definitely not recommend buying their cheap Chinese products that anyone can buy themselves for less than £50 for everything on alibaba.com

Hi would the receiver pick up from the cab if put in the rear as I have a bulk head in my trafic van and need rear doors and one sliding door also front doors
