2025 is definitely my year to focus on monthly sinking funds, cash spending, and cut out the micro spending. Our micro spending is 80% food. Living 2 minutes away from a dollar general is costly. It’s way too easy to grab a snack. We are also trying to focus on whole foods this year as well. So that will help us skip the DG junk food runs.
January was going to be a no spend month for us, but my 20 year old daughter lost her dear friend to cancer who was also 20. We donated to a scholarship fund set up,in her name. We will begin in February. I love all of your ideas and we too will be working on saving more this year.

I do way too much micro-shopping too. Once a week makes it easier to stay on budget. Good luck with your goals in 2025!
