Declutter Your Life: Say Goodbye to Paper Chaos
My kids have been collecting Squishmellows code years I have throw some out as if can bc omg
I love this video and love your values to it was sweet and simple that Christmas Hope you do more videos soon
I think the gifts you got your kids was enough..They are really cute gifts.. The dolly pockets you can always add to them each year..I love that tent, I think they will have fun playing in it.. The bunk beds are an awesome gift..
Last year we did 2 nights at a indoor Waterpark hotel Instead of presents. I did a stocking and we spent christmas having fun. Was best
We are considering more of a Joshua Becker method next year. Something you want. Something you need. An experience for the whole family to enjoy.
Great gifts. You do what you want for your children, and people have no right being cruel.
I watched last years video and now this one and both were great. I think whatever works for your family is what’s right for you. Merry Christmas! ❤
Great gifts. Not sure why anyone would want to leave an angry comment about what someone else has bought for their own children. I think your children will be really happy and those bunk beds are cool ❤
❤Merry Christmas!
this is way more than i thought you were gunna give lol not in a bad way either way! i was surprised actually hahaha ooo not good about the yotos i just got my girls the minis for there bday last week eeek fingers crossed
@@lindsay2721 we have the 2023 version, so hopefully the new version is way better. 😂
Sounds like a great Christmas. 🎄 ❤
I absolutely loved Polly Pockets as a kid!!! I only have a son, so I won’t get to relive my childhood. 😂 He also asked for a watch this year, 5yrs old. He is into paw patrol and has almost all the characters, but asked for a boat. I found a paw patrol boat in the clearance isle and grabbed it. Surprisingly he didn’t really ask for much this year.
I think that is plenty! Your kids will be so happy opening their gifts. I am suprised that 2 year old is already getting speach therapy. I don't think here in Finland kids that age would get it.
She wasn't talking or walking at all at 18 months. She has joint hyper mobility and low muscle tone so she qualified for speech, PT, and OT through the state we live in. Without a diagnosis I don't believe kids would qualify.
@@lindsaysimplifiedMy daughter was born birth injury called Erbs palsy. Her one army was paralyzed for many months. We were army but she got recommended for early intervention by state. You had to have delay in 2 areas so basically they slow rolled the process and stayed with us long enough to help me help her. They helped a lot.Shes an adult with issues with it but 99 percent full use of arm.
@@lindsaysimplified oh, ok! That is great that you get help early then 😊. Hyper mobility is an issue with my kids too! They are all adults now. Enjoy the time with smaller kids, time really flies.
That farm set is such a good idea! I work with early elem sped kids so I might have to get that for the classroom. Also I feel you on the dental bills, my 9yo just got braces 😣 so it'll be candy a free stockings over here too.
You did an amazing job and i love the fact that you taught your babies to share with their siblings. Merry Christmas
Nice haul. I've never understood people expecting others to spend more than what is available. There is absolutely no need to get into debt. Kids are happy with whatever you provide for them. Don't listen to hate.
I don't think the Christmas gifts are lacking at all! Good job 😊
Less is more. They will love their gifts❤
Lovely gifts! Would you possibly do an updated minimal wardrobe video at some point?
Yes please! 😊
Great Christmas!
Been using it for 6 years now with now 3 kids. I love it, I love how everything is woven in, I love that because there is a lot of mastery based learning we can cut down on the work when I’ve deemed they’ve mastered it. I love that everything is connected and that they started with what they wanted to see in a high school graduate and worked backwards. I love how great the customer service is, I love that the teachers are willing to help the moms and that the curriculum is tested at their school before they release it to us homeschoolers. I feel such peace with this company and curriculum!
Lynn here I’m 74 and you are so sweet. Love your videos ❤️🥰
Love this list. We do a lot of the same. 😊
I like your Christmas tree
Thanks for the video New subscriber here 🙋🏽♀️ Happy holidays🎄
I am also a minimalist. I allow myself one small shelf with little trinkets that make me happy. I love your videos.❤
Great insight!
I can’t believe this was controversial. This was plenty and the yoto player is a big gift.
I wish I would have took screen shots of the horribly mean comments looking back - but I deleted and blocked them. 😂 I made a rule very early on that I would have a zero tolerance for trolls and overall hatefulness.
Wonderful video! I have went minimal over the past few years. It has made cleaning and maintaining my house much easier. I have also found that I appreciate and enjoying the items I already have. ❤️
I so agree.I love decorating our home & getting gifts my kids ask for however i ensure everything is done within budget.I really dont want a big fat credit card bill come January.Christmas is done strictly with a debit card
I just found you, I subscribed in a first minute of the video. In Europe its always one bigger gift and few smaller, or 2-3 gifts. Its never a room full of presents. Where would we put it? We live in much smaller spaces, like 700 sq.feet for family is a big space. Thank you for normalizing and explaining things
Love it!
The fact anyone had the audacity to rage about what YOU bought YOUR kids is freaking insane. You do you! ❤
Agreed! More presents doesnt mean better Christmas. Hubby and I have had a limit of $50, for the last 11 years, for each others yearly gift. We talked back then and agreed that one, thought out, useful gift that costs $10 is better than 5 junk gifts we will never use or something expensive just to get something under the tree for each other. However, we do both still enjoy buying and opening a few really thoughtful gifts for Christmas for each other and arent yet willing to give up the entire gift giving thing. We do NOT have extended family nor kids of our own.

We do not do lots of toys! Just a few things. At my house grands get 3 gifts, 1 big two small. . At home they get a few things. They do not need a bunch of stuff.
I liked your video.
I so agree! I have 6 kids. Refusing to go into debt for stuff your kids don't need shouldn't be controversial.
100% agree. Let’s get back to the real reason for the season and try and enjoy the simple things in life.
Such good information.
Thank you! 😊
My wife and i were eating dinner and discovered your videos. As a 71 year old grandfather and father of a 29 year old son, i wish his family would watch your videos. I sure can't get through to them about saving money. My wife and i will subscribe to your channel and give your videos a thumbs up to help you out. Good luck, and press forward.
Thank you! 🥹
It is one day of the year. Let's keep calm 😅
This was a great video. We don’t have any money this year, as I lost my job in mid August due to health reasons. We have two girls, 7 and 14, and we’re getting them 4 gifts each. All together we’re going to spend about $80 for both girls. We have always tried to have simple Christmas’s for them but the grandparents have always gone all out. They finally listened this year and aren’t getting them a ton of gifts. Thank you for this. I love your channel!
Thank you for such kind words!
@@lindsaysimplifiedof course! I’ve watched all of your videos since the very beginning. It lights up my day when you post. 😆
Simple is best no matter one's income or wealth. Little House on the Prairie (the books not the TV series) Christmases were the best. Too many get caught up in Martha Stewart Christmases, not that we couldn't learn some things from her, but many go over the top based on the advertising media with unpleasant results.
YES!
My grandfather was born and reared in Norway, and I have visited the west coast of Norway. I think the Scandinavians have it right emphasizing quality over quantity, time in nature and home cooking.
During a rough financial year we actually switched to buying one big bottle of dawn dish soap we used it for shampoo, bodywash, shave gel, cleaning spray for whole house just add water and rubbing alcohol. Forget expensive conditioners and just use a little coconut oil which doubles as lotion, face lotion, cooking fat, grease for squeaky hinges. Its all about less spending and more creativity. Im not here on this earth to bankroll every multimillionaire with a monopoly on our home good items.
I’ve never considered using it for shampoo! These are great!
If it’s concentrated add water
I love my Roku too! It’s worth it just for the 24/7 Murder, She Wrote channel. 😅 We’ve been using the Kanopy app through our library in addition to Hoopla and Libby, and have been liking it. My husband shares a UA-cam premium account with his brother but other than that we’re subscription-free, although I’ve been considering rejoining Spotify.
