One of my best friends in all the world came all the way from LA to see New Edition induct the Spinners in to the Hall of Fame. I now see why she traveled so far. This was quite a tribute.
NE did great! I can tell the improvement for Bobby health wise from previous tour clips. His voice sounds clearer and purer and he looks as if he’s dropped some lbs.
New Edition is RnB group black excellence. Brought me back to my childhood when my parents played The Spinners, Earth, Wind & Fire, Ray, Goodman & Brown, The Stylistics, Blue Magic and my all time fav The Whispers. There are countless others and I'm grateful to know and love that Era of RnB 🙏❤🍫👑🎤🔥😊✌
New Edition should be next. They were influenced by the Motown groups that are in the RORHOF and their influence reached all of the boys bands that came after them. Without them, there would no NKOTB or nsync, 98 degrees and even K-POP boy bands.
Hell, they don't have the talent to make groups, and it's hard to find, then when they do find it, they have to piece together some crap from other groups.
I always find myself holding my breath while watching Bobby. In my mind I am saying, "Hang in there, Bobby! You got this!" 😂 He has been through so much. I just want him to succeed.
This was a concert for 6 minutes. EXCELLENT choice for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and great job by NE. Congratulations and thank you for posting this video. I miss these songs.

Oh, they need to induct R&B groups such as Kool and the Gang first. After all, the Spinners formed in the 1950s (first in Detroit, then taking flight in Philly), and it took the Hall of Fame decades to officially recognize them. The Pointer Sisters need to be inducted, too, while one of them still lives on. The Hall of Fame will get to New Edition eventually. Impressive tribute to the Spinners and "Soul Train" here. I'm just glad that they FINALLY inducted Chaka. They're lucky to have her, as I feel she's a better musician than a lot of the other inductees over time.
This was an amazing performance! This is why NE is legendary icon status. These brothers are mid 50's and still got the choreography on point! I have absolutely no idea why it took this long for them to be inducted into the Rock N Roll HOF. Straight BS.
