As I often lock the front brake (parked uphill/downhill, lifting the motorcycle after a fall etc.) I always carry a hairband around my glove or around my mirror. It's usually easier to put in place than some zip lock or velcro from a device, and always there. You grab the brake, go aroung the accelerator from under, and grab the brake again.
Thanks for sharing! Personally, I probably would still go for the little jack as it’s not too expensive, neat product and I believe the guy that produces is a one man show and also a motorcyclist. Happy to support it. I get your point though. Cheers mate!
Excellent how to video and demonstration. I really appreciate good well thought out how to videos that are clear and to the point. The Jack looks great too. I just purchased a new bike yesterday, 1st one in about 17 years. It’s a RE Himalayan Scram 411. I was going to put a factory center stand on it immediately which should make dealing with tire issues on the road a lot easier. I might still pick one of these up as well especially if your with other riders. 👍
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the video! Congrats and the new bike!! Must feel great to be riding again after 17years! Wish you a great time with your new motorcycle. Cheers mate
Your videos and tutorials are brilliant. Thank you for being so helpful and generous in taking time to make the video for the motorcycle community. Well done. The link you sent for the jack is not linking.
thanks for the supportive comment!! You can check it out at Rolling Mavericks website. I'm currently travelling but will get the link fixed once I come back. Thanks for lettine me know!
Great tutorial. Very informative and great demonstrations! As for the jack itself, it's easy to make- there is another video online. I made mine out of an unused hospital crutch. Took 20 minutes!
@@RoiaMoto I found the video that I used to construct my jack. The video is quite good with easy to follow instructions: ua-cam.com/video/SwN5MY9nLEU/v-deo.html
What a well made tool. I hope that Trail Mavericks gets a USA distributor so that free shipping keeps the price down, compared to heavier steel competitors. Cycle Gear?
Shipping to the states is something like $14 which is not bad. And there will no US distributors except for TacoMoto who sells it as part of a toolbag.
I saw someone do something simmilar with an old pair of crutches that she cut o up to make the same set up and she always caries a bag of zipties for the brake trick.
Hi mate! You’re right! I’ve seen this video after a few people commented on this video about the old pair of crutches. I think it’s a nice DIY project but I don’t have a pair of old crutches laying around 😂. At least the video I watched the “end product” was huge! No way I could fit it in my tool kit.
Thank you for bringing this product to my attention, and the review. Looks super light, no reason not to take it especially when you're far back in the woods. Oh, and your backdrop at the beginning of the video is beautiful. Where is this?
My pleasure! Glad to hear that the video was useful! That’s exactly it. It’s so light and compact *and not too expensive*, so I see no reason not to carry one. The backdrop is in Montenegro. Beautiful country!
@@RoiaMoto I will be using my bike to deliver bacon and travel to personal chef events in our area. There is a burger and a beer waiting for you if you can make it to BILL-E’s in Fairhope, Alabama.
@@RoiaMoto the Triumph accessories I like are the small windscreen, center tank pad, luggage rack, and the high mud guard. Not sure if upgraded seat is worth the expense, but it does look sharp. I want both the upper and lower engine bars. Still not sure if the upper one comes with the bike. The reviews from India say that it does. I still can’t get a straight answer on that. I also like the bullet style turn lights. Again not sure it’s worth the add on price. Luggage has been a big thought and I believe the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 will solve all my needs with a Triumph specific Cruz Tools kit in the Fatty Tool Roll. For Navigation I will be using the REVER App with my IPhone on a Quad lock mount.
I have ordered one of these jacks After watching Question on the front wheel you put jack under skid plate.I think plastic. Is it not going to crack the skid plate if plastic.?.or is the weight too light to crack Thanks
Hi Alex Thanks for the question. I’ve never tested it on a plastic skid plate so anything I say would just be guessing. I think it should be fine but just testing to find out. If you test it on yours please let me know how it goes.
@RoiaMoto Thanks, yes, I remember now. I bought the acerbis frame guard today after watching that vid. Got mixed up. Looking forward to more new vids .Cheers.

Hi Domenik, You mean having the bike totally straight up? Like if you were sitting on it going on a straight line? If that’s what you mean, it’s not possible. This trail jack relies on the angle created with the side stand. There will always be an inclination.
@@RoiaMoto Yes that's what I meant, I was thinking it could possibly be used to put the bike in a 90° sitting position to do a rear wheel alignment in the field, like after a chain replacement.
No link to the jack?! Nothing easy to find on your "website" either? Was giving a thumbs up but now a down as there is no link in description as you stated. Feels like click bait.

All you need is an old aluminum crutch cut to length with a couple of rubber stoppers in the ends. MVDBR Enduro has good vid about it

That should also work. Just test it before going on a longer trip.

Great video thanks, is an EU product so sadly gets quite pricey to the US, Tusk has the MotoCrutch which is also half the price
