you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last few weeks =)

This looks awesome! I've been wanting to get a stream deck for a while now. The price is definitely attractive. I wonder if the mini will be enough for me though. I plan on doing Fortnite Tournaments with multiple screen swaps.

Also pls tell where you got that pink perspective grid thing in your intro. I want to use one for a video and my attempts to make one myself failed miserably.
I had to write scrips in AHK for one button multi actions, when this update came out for multi action I was so happy because it's so much easier than using AHK!

Also, if you wanted to input F14+ key to the stream deck program as a hotkey, you can by making a simple AHK script that waits a few seconds for you to click on the hotkey box and then make it press the F14 (or whatever F key you want) key and it should work, I know it's not the best way for everyone but it works

I love the review! What do you advice for a beginner streamer on getting the mini or the big one? I do have prepared a lot already but only thing left to do to make my stream great is my screen transitions.. Then i want to get the deck to tweet and message on discord im live in .. Minutes and start soon, switch easy between scenes and start and stop my stream

Can this be used for live podcasts?
i cant decide if i want the bigger version or the mini. id only be using OBS, chrome, youtube, spotify but even with the mini, i wouldnt be filling up all 6 keys
I would like to see the mini for 70 or 80 dollars.. It's just as cool as the original but the key to price ratio doesn't add up. If you have the extra 50 dollars to spend the full size one is just a better deal.
I know a lot of people who have said they don't need the full size and mini looks like a better buy, but I agree 70-90 sale price would be more convincing
EposVox Well it's probably a good business decision from their perspective. Like you said there will be the people who say they don't need 15 keys and they will essentially choose saving money over having those options in the future. So I see where they are coming from, I just think 100 is kind of high for six keys. I wish I had snagged the original when it was the same price on prime day, but my family convinced me Amazon is evil and that I should boycott them during prime day... Which didn't work obviously, turns out they did better than ever!

For the price difference - I'd go with the 15 button.
I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here but $99 for a pretty big cut down streamdeck seems a bit steep. Even when the streamdeck original went on sale for the same price during prime day.
If you actually need all 15 keys - absolutely. Most people honestly don't. And this is launch price - I'd hope it might drop to ~70-ish on good sales

It's a big fat scam 90$??? Not even 10-20$ to produce,one word it's a big fat scam,the only appeal the custom icons you can put on,same with the big one,open to opinions.
A scam, that's why there's so many similar options with the LCD keys and dedicated in-house developed plugins and integrations right? lmfao
Everything is a scam nowdays I'm not saying that others aren't scam or others are better (and I know there are many more options) everyone needs to make profit,but some companies overdo it like printer inks the don't even cost cents to be produced and they are being sold for 60$,that's what I'm trying to imply here.
If everything is a scam, nothing is a scam.
And comparing this niche-produced product with no real competitors to the printer ink market is a tad absurd.

Wait so the mini is pretty much $100 but the regular one is $140 and you get pretty much twice the amount of buttons so I’m not sure why this is a thing at that price if it was $50-$70 then I would understand but hey maybe in a couple months or to a year this will be something to think about when it drops in price

I expected it to be cheaper. It doesn't make sence to buy the mini if you can buy the normal stream deck with more than double amount of buttons for only 50€ more.
If you see yourself needing all of the buttons, sure. But for a lot of people who don't need as many level 1 face buttons, paying 50% more for features they don't need isn't worth it. Cheaper alternatives are always good to have.
although... the normal streamdeck is on sale for $99 so often, that i'd almost have no way to recommend the smaller one. Like i see it on sale every month for a couple of days, if not more often.
Is it on sale that frequently? I've literally only seen it for $99 recently on Prime Day. Otherwise, it hovers around 140 as the 'sale' price
