Just a suggestion from your Texan subscriber here🙂. Why don’t you do a Collab with Amerikanang Hilaw she’s also Vlogger and you can also ask her about where to look for apartments. She lives in iloilo too.I think her cousin is a real estate agent if I’m not mistaken.
Hmm we haven't heard of seen this UA-cam Blogger before. Looked the channel up, really big channel!
@@BiancaBeyond Yes! She’s white that speaks Ilonggo,Cebuano and Tagalog Fluently. Proudly Born and raised in the Philippines.Specially Iloilo is Her home town. That would be a dream for me and my wife if you guys do a Collab together , How we wish this would happen❤️😁🇺🇸.
@@glennb.7882 hopefully we can track her down. Very very few Vloggers return our messages
Don't rush it. There is a hidden gem somewhere.
Really hoping you'll find the best house in Iloilo - Villa Arevalo is a great choice - find some place with or near a garden, and then hopefully it's just a few steps walk towards the beach, and there are a lot of places around to get good eats, great place indeed! ... Another great place to look for a home is Mandurriao, only because you're near the education hub and the shopping hubs, though I imagine it'll be a bit expensive but hopefully you get less power outages ... May you find the right path and place for you and Bianca! More power TPL!
My advice is don't take it try get a place where you and your wife is comfortable paying and no problems even a new built apt is better cau there will be no issues with it but do whatever make you guys happy in long ran
Just buld a house you don't have to worry no more that's what I did i got tired of renting jumping around all the time. Good luck I hope both of you fine something good and save. God bless. 😊🙏
Can't yet Bianca/Davina doesn't have her dual citizenship yet
You can buy a big Condo though and pay it off.
So sorry you guys are having a hard time finding the right place. However it is sort of "entertaining" to watch. :) Thanks for documenting it. This might help others who are thinking of moving to the Philippines... like us!
Take your time and get a furnished place for the reasons you stated. You had such poor luck with the last place. I agree that don't want to be tied down with heavy furniture. Stay nimble.
I saw both of you yesterday walking on the sides of the streets. I'm also from Arevalo. Enjoy!
Maybe it's time to try another area?? Prayers things work out. Love your channel
For now we are staying we have made so many friends here so we haven't found a place yet that we rather move to
Yeah better to stay there rather than moving to another place again w/c ur not sure maybe worst than before. Having good friends who are willing to help in times of crisis is a wonderful thing. U really need to consider those things.
Good luck to ur house hunting & hoping sooner you'll find a much better one.
Don’t rush , try Cebu they have. Lots of foreigners there so there apartments are up to par updated
Just a suggestion...why don't you get a rent to own from newly developed subdivision which is a good investment too...😊😊
BE SAFE , CHECK OUT AT LEDESCO VILLAGE IN LAPAZ , JARO IS ALWAYS HAVING FLOOD DURING RAINY DAYS, SINCE I WAS A CHILD JARO ILOILO IS HAVING FLOODS DURING RAINY DAYS
Ok I finished watching watching the rest of it. I know you two really like the city but maybe you should go to a totally different city, as you have shown us and as you have heard of there a a lot of beautiful places to live in the Philippines. You two travel so much anyway don't be fooled by getting tied down any where that doesn't fit in your budget. Find a place in your budget with the things you want or absolutely need to do your blogging and over time you will find the city and place to settle.
I’ve been thinking this, too. Doesn’t mean they would never return to IloIlo City in future either. But for their current, necessary checklist for a rental residence, perhaps another city, even another region of Phil altogether would solve a lot. But, would be tough to leave the great friends they’ve made in this area. Again, maybe with goal to return in future.
Just a suggestion. Before you sign on the dotted line ask to see the electric bills for the last 6 months.
That's where I get my plants and fishies. ❤
We have a 641 sqm lot in Molo next to Iloilo HS & 3 mins from SM available to build or co-invest residential/commercial. Meantime for your new place have it blessed by a priest normally they do not charge just donations.
Keep looking. This is not the one i think. Beautiful gardens though xxx
I sent an email to realtor I know of in Iloilo, let you know what comes of it, hope I can help!
I usually don't advocate for rental furniture places, but too bad they don't have something like that there. Like I saw another viewer state...don't rush into anything yet...you have only been looking a couple of days. I am sure you will find something more suitable for the two of you shortly.
Definitely a lot to think about. I hope everything will work out well for you both.
Bacolod is just across the strait..why not try there
Look at Centennial town homes it is next to the resort.
Glad you are looking for a new adventure.. 🥰
Hey guys, just purchase furniture that’s not high end and sell if you decide to move on from there. 11k a month is cheap . Just my thoughts.. 😊
I keep looking for a furnished apartment furniture is cheaper over there, but
I love Iloilo you can be urban you can go countryside… just be in the apt. than rent a house cause you keep on hopping around places. Just go inside subdivisions with apt for rent so its safer esp good subdivisions and not flooded during typhoons.
Iloilo has it. NIce provincial areas and feels and they have their own uptown area enough to rival QC. I get it why you guys decided to live there.
What uptown? Iloilo is flat and even below sea level on most parts..one of the number of cities in the Philippines which is predicted to be submerged by the year 2050
@@lancefortaleza3665 how can Iloilo submerge because it is covered by Guimaras island.
@@ZhanMiyong Due to global warming/rising sea level
Read your Geography before making irrelevant facts.
@I like to make Roblox content it simply means he has not happy of himself haha finding fault in others is his form of contentment...poor mind he is ...
Bianca - I call dogs "puppies" too 🤣 I love all the animals.
Hang in there. 😜 its a process. Maybe your friend can adopt you guys. He has a beautiful place.
better to get a furnished place to remain mobile...
Really nice surroundings, its a pity we all couldn't see the apartment, but not sure if its a good deal though, depends on what if anything is for sale, is the location convenient for you ?, plus finally, have you noticed that most dogs in the PI have curly tails, don't know why , hmmm 🤔
Lots of dogs and cats have curly tails in the Philippines we noticed. It's only one block from Aravelo Plaza and we have so many friends that live nearby we can walk to their houses so we love it for that.
its so good seeing how too look, and say no, but all so so great, i move there next year
Good luck making your decision and deciding where to live. ❤
Can you get inflatable air mattress in Philippines? Buy two cheap ones and stack them if you aren't sure of your long term location. After two months you'll know if your situation is good or bad.
I used to live in villa carolina, behind landheights subdivision.
Correct ❤you can ask her Shes taga Iloilo too just vusit them..
Try to look at Westwood in Dungon Jaro
Forget it with a budget of 20k a month.
and anyway very less rentals here in Westwoods.
I would even consider a new build apartment becautas mentioned below, there are fewer problems than older buildings etc
Iloilo is in my top 3 places to go, once I retire to the Philippines. But the problems you are having with housing is a big deal to me.
It depends on the budget. We just retired here too and for the first two years we were lucky to lived in a nice house we rented until we moved to our new house.
Hi....im always watching your blog...from janiuay..❤
The game with the shells is an African stone game called Mancala
I'm following your apartment hunting saga..i m here in bacolod just watching
Make everything they tell you is in writing in case things go sideways! 😊
love or hate you cant deny this is a good content ✅
Try in Prime Estates, a very central location, just near business parks and esplanades.
Hello, why u don’t go in apartment house „one spatial“ in Iloilo? That’s 2 bedrooms apartments with 45 sqm, pool, fitness. greetings Marco&Maria
For a long term living ..renting is something I don't recommend.. You should build your home instead of spending money on rent.. I have a lot for sale near beach in tigbauan if you want.. Just 30mins away from the city...flood free..like a 100 steps on main road 50 steps on front beach
Beautiful garden.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻⚡️🙏🏻
Thank you so much once again. We appreciate you
You buy what you need and take it with you when ever you move
Ooihhh... Fishies. They are so koi ! ;)
hi 😊 watching from banaue ifugao
Is your wife dual citizen if just buy a lot and build in the mean time you both get your drivers licenses and buy a Bajaj
Happy hunting
keep looking for at least semi-furnished
GOOD LUCK 🍀🍀🍀🍀
garden is not so secret anymore since you show on the vlog, plus they got a little free publish since you guys are bit famous hehe
hi just watched your video and saw that you are looking for an apartment or house... my niece have a newly built house here in tagbac with 3 bedroom and semi furnish.. I just thought you might get interested to see..
Hello guys im from iloilo city. Have you tried looking at jaro spifically gran plains subd. There alot of house that is for rent there. My family lives there
Please check for termites this time.
Your friends wife has a very nice house 😊there
They have been together 27 years I think he is ok
1 year ago they were showing us houses for rent and now they are deciding on a small budget 1 bedroom? I know it's not like the USA over there but I would hate to be their Realtor lol!
Are you starting an A/C collection? :)
Good luck
Beautiful woods but...have you thought of 🐍 🐍 🐍
be careful
Bianca you funny
I feel so bad for you guys. It seems like they are showing you places that you don't even want. Is there a way I can contact you guys because I know I can find someone for you that will actually help you find a decent place?
I am trying to help and am not an agent or what. I am their friend and not that I forced them to see the place. I am a busy person. I have my own life. But helping them is something nice that I can do. You said you can find someone that can really help them. Great! We are thankful. Finding a “decent” place depends on the budget. I know because two years ago, it was us who were looking for a place to stay until our house was done. It would be very nice if you could help them.
@@WildflowerMAMOO okay 👍
Think about mosquitos when there’s water around…
Find a rental owned by a foreigner. Filipinos thrive on win-lose business dealings. They dont win unless you lose!
Sigh…. 😞 Wish you guys can buy a lot and build a house or buy existing house and change to your liking. There must be a way to get financing? So you don’t have this hassle of moving anymore and worrying about your things. I wouldn’t buy furniture like you said until you decide where you want to settle.
From your other Texan subscriber…maybe it’s time to head to a high rise in BGC! 😉
I agree. Maybe they want to consider getting a fully furnished condo in BGC there's a lot of options there.
Well, if you've watched all of their videos before, they explicitly said they would rather live in a place that's laidback and has provincial type of vibe. They've lived in an urban area before.
I’ve watched ALL of their videos, and maybe it’s time for low electric bills and no flooding vibes! 😂
Sadly though, BGC is a bubble and they won't really get to experience "That Philippines Life" because a lot of Filipino locals can't even afford to live in BGC 🥲 If ever they decide to move to another city in the future to settle, just choose somewhere like Baguio or Angeles maybe. Or even Guimaras coz it's peaceful there but it's just like 15 min away from Iloilo.
Aren't there any highrise condos there?
hmmm, I'm curious.. why not just buy a new property? Bianca is half Filipino and I think you can afford it..
She doesn't have her dual citizenship yet
We are buying a Condo from Megaworld, taking 5 years to build, in Pasig, Empire East Highlands.
It's a shame you can't buy a place...
Renting can be such a pain.
Can your Girlfriend get duel citizenship so she can own land ? Be cool if you could do a build project.
Perhaps get a mobile home/van to live on site...
Dunno... just throwing out ideas for you that will give you stability and an investment.
Bianca has seen our dogs, wait till you see size in our Racoons 😅😅😅
Remember you are travellers - don't buy anything you are not willing to walk away from in 2 weeks !!
Why don't you rent over at the Texas Filipino's place?
Oton is nice and where he lives is beautiful but expensive homes. Also you need a car to live over there. Perhaps one day
@@BiancaBeyond I meant, rent out one of his rooms he has built. Until you locate your place. I am sure he would be able to help that too.
@@drewnc6196 oh I see, well it's a beautiful place but not good for people who don't have a car unless you just stay home and walk to the beach. For us we need to be out and about everyday doing something new
At least look for a furnished place.
Homegirl look coo, whats hattening?!
?
Don't do it one month rent deposit that's it
👍👍👍👍❤️
too expensive it's in iloilo not manila lol, you can find better two story apartment in manila in that 11k peso price
Go to san miguel and find a house to rent 😊😊😊.
Go to davao much better is the safest city of the philippines
Lol.. Australia website says "do not travel"
The guy who lost his head a few years ago down there probably was given the same advice
Too many salvage and rape cases there.
Clown spotted
It is safe there as there are cops and soldiers everywhere. I have been many times and it's great.
go back to the 1st place that was too farr away to walk, and buy a 150cc scooter for 3 grand.
Spending 120-150k and moving with the costs of rent/deposits ect just isn't in our budget. We on approx $1500 a month all in and that is pushing it in today's financial climate. We really need to get down too $1k to be honest
@@BiancaBeyond Well, the 11000p rent is much less and if you go for a fridge and bed with good mattress, eating table, and a sofa it will cost about +- 75000p and make it livable and during one year that would be around just above 6000p a month in addition to the monthly rent. And lower energy costs also. After one year you may find another place somewhere else and if it is far away then sell your stuff for a cheap amount as most filipinos do not like to pay much for used things as they buy new and on installment basis and that is on the long run more expensive, but only maybe 20% down payment. Anyway you only need a roof over your heads while you are at home and not travelling around elsewhere making vids.
Wrong way of doing sungka
Based on the difficulty finding a decent apartment, Iloilo might not be the best place to live.
You poor homeless guys, suffering sooo bad in that little shack you're staying in.. hahahaha
Hahaha 😂😂 right..but seriously we don't feel good taking advantage of others generosity
