    looks fantastic! this made me wanna give the blocking technique a go. i just had a question that probably has a very long winded answer (maybe even requiring a whole video); how do you accomplish kicking the mag out with a fresh mag? that and a proper ‘mag throw’ i could never quite wrap my head around since the left wrist is usually parented to the mag. either way, keep up the good stuff man! looking forward to seeing more from you

    • @Hozq3D
      @Hozq3D  Рік тому

      Thanks! Its quite simple really, you just change parents when the character lets go of the mag for a throw and then when kicking the mag out like in this animation the hand is just parented to the other mag that's not in the weapon.

    I've never approached animating with this kind of staging method, but after seeing you video I might give it a go. Is it more efficient?

    • @Hozq3D
      @Hozq3D  Рік тому +4

      Well you can obviously master all techniques but after I switched to doing blocking I could never go back. I never struggle creating my ideas for animations anymore since I can just make the base poses and work my way from there. Another benefit of learning this technique is that its the standard technique you would learn in school and be required to know to work in most industry standard game studios. I highly recommend you try it and at least try to learn it not because you prefer it but because its very useful if you ever plan on getting into the industry.
      I couldn't find too much information on blocking and why its useful but its Wikipedia page has at least something to read if you're interested: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blocking_(animation)

    Не обязательно делать то что он попадает не с первого раза, сделай с первого но как русский дам совет, пусть он держит магазин больше к его нижнему концу, и наклоняет в перед так же больше, чтобы было видно что он зацепляется зубом в шахту и потом ЧЁТКО прищелкивается, резко и четко, без смазанных движений, если хочешь пример, посмотри как это делается в таркове, а изза положения руки на нем слишком высоко, сразу видно что делал не русский человек, американцы и тд привыкли что магазин можно брать близко к верху чтобы вставить в шахту ар-15, в АК же нужно видеть куда вставляешь и держать так чтобы рука этому не мешала, удачи

  • @dilifa
    @dilifa 2 дні тому

    It looks incredibly beautiful, but there are two mistakes (this is my unnecessary opinion). The first, banal one, is the shaking of the camera at a certain moment. The second hand moves from the bolt directly to the handle, while the weapon is not held with the second hand. The hand will not have time to move from the bolt to the handle, because the bolt will hit the weapon faster and it will slip. In my opinion, try to make sure that when inserting the magazine, your hand immediately grabs the front handle and then releases the bolt. This is all my unnecessary opinion, I like your work.

    • @Hozq3D
      @Hozq3D  13 днів тому

      Two different rigs, for game animations the weapon is usually parented to a bone on the character in the animation. This can then be replicated in game by just parenting the weapon mesh and rig to that bone and it'll line up without issues.
