I'm having an issue where I open WIiFLow and it immediately exits to the Wii Menu. I've followed this and every video you've posted involving modding the WiiU, Setup, etc to the letter. I'm lost on what to do and google has not been much help
You must have installed cIos wrong, that happened to me where it would open whatever’s in the disc drive, or just exits to the menu. Make sure to follow this guys tutorial for either the vWii or Wii and make sure each slot installs
I've configured aroma and I can see "patched vwii ios80 installer already in my homebrew channel. So for sure I'm running this version, but when I select cios80 I get same behavior 😢
@@riptilius619 look it up on UA-cam. Sadly I cannot remember I just watched a video. You need to connect the wii to the internet for the internet method to work. Just do some digging around on UA-cam and you'll find it
I’m having trouble with the YAWMM part.. when I go to choose the iOS Version, it doesn’t give me the option to choose iOS 249.. is there anything I can do about that?
so i downloaded a wii game wbfs file and for some reason, every time I try to play the game through wiiflow, it just closes out to the wii menu screen, I have no idea what I did wrong?
Look the same thing happens when I try to start my wii flow channel installer echoes directly back to the Wii menu i’ve tried everything it worked before, but then I had to uninstall it and then when I put it back, it won’t work. Any suggestions? Any thoughts good like I said I can change the pictures to on it. That’s all I can do, but I’m not able to load into it. I did everything correctly, but it didn’t work. But then I updated my console and everything worked.
Hey Funky Scott, let me lead with the fact that I am loving your channel. Definitely earned a subscriber through your helpful guides. I am having an issue with this walkthrough there. Upon completion, my Wii games no longer appear in the Wii Flow menu. Luckily, I am able to access and play them by going through the File Explorer and following their path there, but as you can imagine this is far less convenient when compared to what it was prior. I tried deleting all of the things associated with the channel (but not the program in the homebrew browser itself, that didn't work), I've tried renaming them in the wbfs folder (previously they weren't in folders and did not have their game ID's because they were working without it, I followed that guide more closely to no avail), I have reloaded the cache at every stage of this and have tried going through the path manager to their location in the files, but they no longer appear. I also threw the wbfs folder in the apps folder and wiiflow folder, but the games were not appearing there either. It does not seem to be an issue with the card because A) it worked previously and B) Everything else continues to work, it also does not appear to be an issue with the files, because they still remain functional, just not appearing on that screen. I have reviewed your video on Wiiflow games not loading, but that did not work for me either. I would love some assistance on this issue, and figured there was no one better. P.S. I am going to post this on your video on the fix video, I do not mean to be impatient or disrespectful, I would just like it to be seen and am not sure which place is the better to leave a comment. @@Johnnysixpac hey, i figured it out why, if you check in the apps folder there shouldn't be an actual wiiflow folder but just the channel installer, you should just add the wii flow folder that you can take from the wiiguide page and you should be ok. lmk If it fixed

My usbxloader shows up empty. I think it's cause I'm using an SD card rather than a USB stick but I'm still new at this stuff. Anyway I installed a newer wiiflow and got it working

Hey I had a couple of things to ask; 1) I followed a tutorial on how to install USB loader GX and get games working that way and it worked great. My friend wanted a wii homebrewed so I assumed I could do the same process. I bought a wii that had nothing on it, so I copied everything from my SD card onto a new one for their wii. But when I opened USB loader GX on their wii and put in my USB with my games, only one game showed up. However, it showed that the space on the USB had been taken up as if there were 20+ games on there. The USB works fine on my wii through USB loader GX so I don't know what I did wrong. I then tried this tutorial for WiiFlow on my friend's Wii and using the same USB from before, it showed all the games I had downloaded and they worked no problem. My question is what did I run into that made USB loader GX not work on this wii but it works fine on mine? 2) Back to my Wii, I wanted roughly 50 games to play so I downloaded the 50 games. I put the USB into USB loader GX and nothing showed up (even when I selected the box that checked off only Wii games). But the space from the USB on the bottom of the screen showed it had been taken up and that there were in fact games on the USB. I then took off games until there were only 24 left. I put the USB into the wii and booted up USB loader GX, and all the games showed up and they all work. My question is that I see people online with hardrives with thousands of wii games on there and no one else seems to be having my problem so I don't know what to do? 3) Can you just download GameCube games onto the same USB drive of your wii games and they'll both show up in WiiFlow? No one can really seem to help me out so I was hoping someone could tell me if I need to install another channel. I have Nintendon't but I'm not sure how to set it up. Thanks. Love the videos.

@@funkyscott47 I use the wiimanger to import game to usb it was showing games and running when I tryed like before putting 2 extra games in the usb the Pes and xeno then the problem started after that the usb not showing and the Wiiflow shows the games but get freeze
this isn't working for me at all, as soon as i get to the source part of the yawmm stuff it just fucks up, no matter if i select usb one, usb 2.0, sd, sd gecko etc. it just doesnt cooperate. edit : fixed it

Once I'm in wiiflow and select a game, settings really anything I keep getting a boot screen does that mean my SD got corrupted? It'll reload but it loads to a screen that says can't find partition choose one but I have no choice but to unplug it

Im trying to install game shortcuts directly to the vWii Menu using WiiGSM but having no luck, just getting a black screen. Tried setting IOS version 249 manually in the forwarder and in Wiiflow, also tried USB loader GX. No luck :( It isnt well documented either, everything I see online is out of date

Some of the themes don't work and make it appear that the Wii flow channel got deleted. If this happens uninstall the channel, and reinstall (again the channel is not actually deleted as you can uninstall it, but do this just to be sure) and go through the wad manager set up again picking a different theme.
hey scott, when i tried copying the apps folder from the wiiflow installer folder to the root of the sd card an error message was brought up saying "this disk is write-protected" and "remove the write protection or use another disk." now im not even able to create new folders on my sd card. What should i do? FIXED: theres a slider on my sd card that was moved down, that apparently blocks some stuff. i was able to complete the tutorial. but im still facing the issue of whenever i return back to the wii u menu none of my games show up until i restart my console and reinsert my sd card.
I think there is something messed up with my vWii, anytime i even play a virtual console wii game that's located on the main wii u home page and close out of it none of my games show up, but if i exit out of a wiiu game my games are still there.
Can i just downloded the forwarder since my wiimotes are all with the motion plus thingy. I domt care about how it looks i just want to go back to wiiflow after i exit a game
the offical site to homebrew your says not to put your wads on the root of your SD card they say Make sure you have no .wad files anywhere else than in the apps folder on your SD Card. for the cIOSes what am I supposed to do can anyone give me a hand

Where are the wiiflow wad covers? The link you provided doesn't have it anymore.
Downloaded as part of the same package. When you unzip there are 2 additional folders with the themes.

The usb loader issue may be that your usb drive is incompatible

did you use the app to install the forwarder + hidden forwarder? and nope, you don't need usb loader for this to work

FIXED: theres a slider on my sd card that was moved down, that apparently blocks some stuff. i was able to complete the tutorial. but im still facing the issue of whenever i return back to the wii u menu none of my games show up until i restart my console and reinsert my sd card.
correction, its not actually an error, my pc is calling it an "interrupted task"
i took out my sd card and now nothing is even showing up on my vWii homebrew page
I think there is something messed up with my vWii, anytime i even play a virtual console wii game that's located on the main wii u home page and close out of it none of my games show up, but if i exit out of a wiiu game my games are still there.
Can i just downloded the forwarder since my wiimotes are all with the motion plus thingy. I domt care about how it looks i just want to go back to wiiflow after i exit a game

the offical site to homebrew your says not to put your wads on the root of your SD card they say Make sure you have no .wad files anywhere else than in the apps folder on your SD Card. for the cIOSes what am I supposed to do can anyone give me a hand
