I love everything about my 60s LP. My neck is. 86 -.93 so a little thicker than that one but still on the thinner side. Great plsying! And the 61BB are just amazing.
Had a 60s standard in limited edition AAA cherry burst and it was nothing short of spectacular. Unfortunately the grand total after taxes and interest (1 year finance) was somewhere around 5500 (cad). I decided it's too much money for a standard and returned it. Somehow I managed to get a 2014 LP custom for 3500 shortly after from an old friend, his initial asking price was 5200. It's the smoothest guitar I've ever played. The action is lower than my ultra strat and it basically plays itself. A well crafted Les Paul is going to play effortlessly. Like it's constantly demanding for excellence. My motto is the "right" les paul doesn't come from the model, but from the luthier and how good of a day he/she was having lol
I bought a 60s in bourbon burst three weeks ago in Nashville at the Gibson Garage. It's got an amazing top with a ton of detail and the color is closer to cherry. I'm used to playing an Epiphone 50s and the Gibson sound is significantly better. Louder, brighter, and more versatile with the knob adjustments. The fretwork is also noticeably better and it stays in tune. I like my Epiphone but I'm loving the Gibson!

Very beautiful, and, as always, great playing.

I loved the smell of the lacquer finish when you first open it up
Liked what you played, you really show cased the shit out of that guitar.
It sucks because I love the 60s colors but I don't like the necks very much, and I hate the 50s colors but I like the neck profile better
Look for used Les Paul Traditionals. They had great finish choices and 50s neck profiles
i'm the opposite 😭😭 i mean both are not hated i don't think in necks but god the 60s is a lot more comfortable but so ugly
Ironically, I’m the exact opposite lol
That was some S_it. Dude, you are an absolute virtuoso. Thanks for posting. That was extremely entertaining.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best LP necks
Should I buy this beauty ? Right now I can only play House of the rising sun .😅
What happened to the les paul you were giving away at a hundred?
The green one? Drawn ages ago.
Can’t do Cherry. Blech.
This isn't cherry. Unless you already know that and are just making a left field comment??

Are you sure this isn’t Iced Tea?

John! Yes your converting! Slim taper! 60s necks rule buddy!
Great review man
Review and demo or lessons. John, in my book, is THE top guitarist on YT.
