wow! I've been working with zbursh recently and I don't have words to express my thanks for such an amazing tutorials videos you have, I think you explain very clear and you have a lot of knowledge of the program, thanks a lot for share this! You helped me a lot and I think you are helping a lot of people entering into the zbrush terrain, big hug Michael!
This is SUPER helpful, I have been referencing these so much when I come back to one I haven't really used enough to recall. Thanks so much, it really is key!
21:25 With regard to topology, I would definitely care about how it inserts edges if I was doing actual modeling in ZBrush, but given that you'd probably just end up dynameshing/zremeshing, adding some resolution and then sculpting over all of this geometry, does the crappy topology even matter if what you really want is a equidistant inset? I guess what I'm also asking is, does anyone really actually model in ZBrush or is it more for adding some extra geometry here and there for you to work with in your sculpting? As far as modeling and retopology, I'd definitely prefer Blender or Maya's tools to Zmodeler. Thank you for the amazing lessons, I feel so much more comfortable using ZBrush's cracked-out UI after watching all of your videos that it almost starts to resemble good UI. (Maybe I need sleep)
You Sir, are the KING of explaining! Thank you
(Zmodeler was shortening my lifespan)

Is there a way of using the paint function in zmodeler to select a polyloop with one click? Hope that made sense.
sure, transpose on an edge, and set target to polyloop
