I really like the riff you do with the trem-picked triplets across the four strings. I find it difficult to do! I can trem-pick at that tempo on one or two strings but when I have to move my hand enough to cover 3+ strings in the riff it seems I lose my place and start messing up more often. I guess the best way to fix this problem is to practice it with a metronome at slower tempo that I can do it accurately at, then gradually increase the tempo and keep practicing until I can do it up to speed... I have some work ahead of me!
Thanks, yes most people just go for 4/4 and so I do 95% of the time, but it is fun to explore other options, and it is one of the easier ways to sound 'unique' rather than just playing riffs that someone else has already done before.

7/4 is one of my favorites for just riffs in general. Lends itself well to just cool shifts in feel and such
