Very nice idea. You could put an automotive AC compressor that is driven by the motor and put an AC system in it to replace the ice bath so it would be self contained and less messy with ice/water.

This isn't new. Engine chiller units have been around for yrs. They just used the same idea and applied it to the trans. Good stuff
