- The last leg of our 4wd Adventure sees us going down to 3 trucks
due to another mechanical issue. However, it turns out to be the best leg of the trip in regards to scenery. We driving the Binns Track via the Old Andado Station to Alice Springs and then venturing out in the McDonald Ranges where we visit Hugh River, Simpson Gap, Standley Chasm and then into the beautiful Fink Gorge. Find out why my Defender ended up on a Tow Truck in Hermansburg

It would be scary driving in remote places with all those components slopping about under the seat. Are they normally secured and tidy?
it's a Defender mate that is already the secured and tidy version
and the issue was not a loose connection in the middle consol but a loose earth in the engine bay which caused the hot shoed connection
I would've thought your European heritage would have that in straight lines and cable tied in place.
must be gutting to organise a tow truck for something so relatively simple. but better safe than sorry. next time you'll know better. As will I through the education from youtube.
yep, I sure carry a couple of spare relays now, but as mentioned a loose earth on the firewall not the cable under the middle console where the culprit for the hot shoed connection, never stop learing...
