    I'm a woman of color and have been using the eyebrow shaper for several years to remove unwanted facial hair... it works wonders. I don't wear makeup though bc I find that (for me) it ages my skin so much faster. Some young girls who are 19 tend to look 25 after just a few years of makeup use, and that's ok until you reach 35 and look 40 something. My 23 yr old daughter began to have very fine lines around the eyes, but she finally stopped wearing the foundations, and it literally took yrs off of her face.. no more fine lines

    As a MUA I highly recommend MAC strobe cream in pinklite or peachlite. Use it on top of the cheeks and down the nose, on top of the eyebrows and you will look amazing.

    I use a non coated aspirin and add a few drops of water to create an exfoliating liquid. Works well for a whole bottle of aspirin for 99cents.

    Thank you for your tips and your budget friendly ones as well. The main product I have been using for about 15 years is Paula's Choice 2% liquid BHA. I am 69 I get compliments on my skin. I think it adds radiance. In the winter I think a humidifier also helps dry skin.

    Love your videos! A couple of random items. 1) I have fair skin and I absolutely have to wax my eyebrow and upper lip area. The hairs in that area are jet black - my natural hair color (on my head) is reddish brown. I could probably get away with using the blades for the beach fuzz but definitely not around my eyebrow or upper lip area. 2) I just ordered the Charlotte Tilbury product. Waiting for it to arrive. I’ve never heard about adding it after - I’ll definitely try that out. 3) I’m having a heck of a time with foundations. It seems like no matter what I use, it’s either ends up looking two cakey on my skin OR it’s not providing enough coverage. I swear I’ve spent more on various foundations this year than on all other products combined!

      Hi Kristina Frazier-Henry! Have you tried the RMCA foundation yet? It is amazing and very skin like with a good coverage...Kroylan have another stick foundation with a heavier coverage and it is lovely too...Both these brands are used by professional makeup artists and they have access to all the other foundations...Worth a try...Have a great day 💕

    I had to stop waxing due to using Retin A - but shaving, ugh. No matter what you use, you are supposed to go in the direction of the hair, which doesn’t work as well as going against the growth...but against the growth is more likely to cause ingrown hair/ irritation. So I bought this little elegant round headed electric razor called Finishing Touch Flawless. Works perfectly

    💌 My fav beauty tip is the bakjng soda cleanser. I must say I had not heard of mixing 1 teaspoon in with your cleanser. I DIY by mixing 3/1 baking soda and a teaspoon of purified water to creste a paste Or make it thinner for cleansing or thicker to make a mask then I keep it on for 10 minutes and it is refreshing. 💕I have been doing lots of new beauty tips after reading your e-book. Thanks for sharing. Your simply the best!

    These are great tips, I need a quick and easy version, I deal with severe pain and fatigue, I use up so much energy doing things, I usually have to choose what I can do so I can function after getting ready. By the time I get showered and dressed I’m worn out and pain hits a high 7, hair brings it up to an 8 and makeup can push me up to 9&10. Then I have to act ok while I’m out, I tend to stay home these days.

    I use hair trimming machine to trim to remove the visible hair from my arms. It doesn't shave the hair but it's removing the hair from the skin up. This way the hair does not grow back with blunt ends that can be very painful after it grows back, it looks like no shaving was done as one or two millimeters are still visible but looks so natural and the hair will take so much longer to grow. No chemical pealing, shaving or waxing gave such wonderful and and long lasting results.

    I love the Natio foundation for my skin, love the mineral foundations, they are light and yet have a good coverage . I also use a sheen bronze pallet when not using a foundation during the day, finishing of with a light mist fixing spray

    Ho lovely. Thanks for a wonderful tutorial. Great tips. I use the Mac prep and prime, but I’m curious about the Nyx primer now. Through the day, I get a lovely glowy complexion by using invisible tinted zinc which is only $17 at Coles. I combine light and medium and it gives a beautiful healthy glow and is 50 plus, I then use either Too Faced peach blush or Elf creme blush which I love putting on with my fingers for a beautiful natural glow. I use my fingers to apply eye shadow too, even though I have Zoeva brushes. I also prefer the eco brushes from Coles for my under eye shadow, which I dab under water. These ideas work a treat for my dry skin. For mascara, I absolutely swear by Kevyn Aucoin full volume mascara, and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara for night time. Thanks again Schellea. I feel we are kindred spirits , sister. Sending you sunshine from Qld xxx🙏🌞🌺🥂

      fabulous50s it really is amazing. The brush looks very basic, but allows you to get in close without putting mascara all over the place and is beautiful and natural looking with no clumps or flaking ♥️

    • @fabulous50s
      @fabulous50s  5 років тому

      Hi Shirley Lewis...I don't rely on SPF in my foundation because it is not strong enough for us here in Australia...I apply under my foundation first 🙂there is also a great invisible zinc based powder called Sunforgettable which adds another layer of protection

    I cannot find the RCMA palette in the states. Very frustrating. MAC make up sells something similar in look but the ingredients differ extremely. Do you have anything else that would be as fabulous or a retailer? You look devine.

    Make sure all your hair is tucked out of the way when you "shave" your face, I learned the hard way. Was being lazy or just in a hurry. About twenty short hairs now in front of my ear "side burn" I have to laugh at myself or I would cry type of person.
