- Off grid sailboat life can have its challenges like tackling a plumbing disaster in the middle of nowhere and crossing our fingers that we have the right spare parts onboard, or keeping our provisions topped up so that we don’t run out of food, but it also means that we have the biggest backyard in the world, where we can interact with nature all around us. Do we miss the comforts of civilization like a fast internet connection, air conditioned grocery runs, and hot water? Sometimes, but what we gain when we journey off-grid has a magic of its own.

Jordan, you never cease to amaze me with your Mr. Fix-It handyman stuff. Awesome, dude! With your comment to Desiree about putting her wetsuit on and it being so hot. I've been a certified diver for over 50-years. The first time I went without a shirt or at least a shorty wetsuit, I got both sunburnt and also stung by a jellyfish under my arm which left a painful mark for months and took its time healing. So, Desiree is right on the money--protection! Love the underwater footage. It's soooo beautiful. Bummed that y'all are missing next week, but I will eagerly look forward to your next posting. @@ProjectAtticus YES!!! I'm still trying to catch up. I somehow stumbled on a fundraising effort you all were doing that lasted just about an hour. It was great...I think it was about a year ago. I'll get on board with you all $oon. It's the least I can do for being able to witness this amazing adventure. Hopefully, one day if you find your way back to Key West, Sarasota, or parts in between, I can meet you down there. I'd love to meet you both. I have friends up and down both coasts.
I lived on a boat for 12 years. Best neighbors, life, and stress less time of my life. So miss it.

Found you guys back in April of this year (‘20) .You showed up in my feed. Wasn’t interested at first but gave it a shot. Since then I’ve binged watched your playlists from the beginning. Season 1.5 and more. I wish I could share how much I’ve learned about sailing and just how I’ve enjoyed the whole process of you guys have evolving and maturing. I could ramble on but I’ll keep it short. So I am update on most all your videos and now I’m having to wait until Thursdays for your new content and it’s tough....haha!! I had the same problem with my fresh water facet. I soaked it in some CLR for couple hours and then rinsed it out and it worked like it was brand new.

Just recently watched the Challenges between Atticus and UMA. That was GREAT!!!!! I had began following their adventure as well a few weeks ago. It was special watching the interaction between the four of you.

Whenever I tour a Navy boat, and you see all of the plumbing and wiring run in plain view where it looks like it is so easy to work on, I wonder why I don’t move all of our wiring and plumbing into the open like that! Enjoyed your video!
When I rebuilt my boat my first rule was make everything accessible and revertable. No marine plywood floor base. 1/4” pultruded FRP, teak and holly cabin floor adhered with 3” Velcro. New access ports, easy access shut off valves
