I'm here for Mazzei Formula and for me, the incredible thing is that he predicted it could make it sound like a V10 with half of RPM's. For example, the Renault FS25 screams up to reach 19000 RPM, and this engine makes the same sound with 9500 RPM. It's just simply amazing!
It's not a prediction; it's acoustics :) Rotors produce twice as many power strokes as cylinders, so the result is that they sound twice as high in pitch. It's why the Mazda 787B, a 4-rotor, sounds like a V8 Formula One with only half the revs

Actually I think it is, most importantly because of the rate at which physics must be calculated in order to get a realistic sound. Other than that, of course previously simulated sounds imported as files should be more feasible and probably the way to go for now

the limit is at 9,5k for a reason, the power starts decreasing at that limit and after 10k it would probably go down pretty fast and at 12k just sound more high pitch and just scream but without sounding like it makes any power
@@CreeplayEUeh not really it's all in the ports and pipes my 13b makes power up to 12500 and it's not that special the hill climb guys go all the way up in the 15-16krpm range and make power. Thing is the forces on the seals means you need very light seals with the g force to not eat housings. Obviously the balancing and clearancing is needed too but as far as making power at any rpm it's all ports and pipes. Think the last I heard the na 13b record for na is 650chp give or take by a British guy but I bet theres some Puerto Rican guys doing more and I wouldnt be surprised is theres a few kiwis doing more too.
Remember rotors turn at 1/3 the eshaft speed too so 9k at the shaft is 3k at the rotors revving high is pretty easy for these look up the criton cr700 or the nvr588
In the lower revs, it sounds like an Audi I5, in the low-mid, a Lamborghini V10, and the upper range becomes an F1 V10.

Yes. It is very computationally intensive. Install this simulation and even with four cylinder engines, your CPU will be running near max capacity.
Automation is the closest but there are no rotaries unfortunately
