I admire people who write poems about their bad experiences in life but how about writing about hope and strength of giving life a second chance. So when you feel down againyou can read the poemswhere hope was at its highest.😊
For sure! Both types of poems matter.
I wasn’t in a place to write hopeful poems whilst writing my last book. It would’ve done more damage to ignore my feelings and pretend I was hopeful. In those moments, I needed to just feel my feelings.
In more recent years, I’ve been writing more hopeful poems. It’s easier to do so when your life isn’t as chaotic lol.
I really liked some of your poems and the additional explanation. Thank you for sharing 💕

Holy Shit, you must've went through some rough times. But you should always forget about the past and move forward. Where as oscar winning actor Anthony Hopkins quoted from the movie The Wolfman(2010 remake); "Never look back on the past Lawrance, it is a wilderness of horrors". That's what i've learned from that quote. haven't had the slightest thought of looking back on it. It's best to remember the good times and not the bad. Gotta admit, your poems are really something. The ones i like the most were from "Youth", and a few from the second one you were reading. Very powerful but beautiful stuff👏👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕💯💯💯💯💯. You're amazing at what you do👍👍👍✌✌✌✌✌💕💕💕💕😊😊😊
