I had considered this, but with only 1440p resolution, the dpi is lacking for such a large screen. I ended up buying the LG 42 Flex OLED, and with it's 2160p resolution, it's been very impressive and immersive for MSFS2020. Since it flexes from full flat to 900r curvature (in 5% increments), it can satisfy pretty much anyone's desire. It also has a built in ability to "shrink" the display image to either 32" or 27" if you find the 42" screen too large for productivity uses. It's more expensive than the 45" UltraGear, but is routinely on sale for around $2,000 (I bought mine through "The Exchange" for $1,999).
i have an lg ultragear 24 inch 144hz which started to get vertical lines across the screen, it would work fine for a while and then i think overheat and start displaying lines, not sure how to fix

I would just buy a new monitor. It is hard to replace the screen, and it typically costs more to fix than to buy a new monitor.
@@javatheboxer Thanks! How would you suggest I dispose of the monitor?
Your city should have an e-waste drop-off center.
I saw this at Best Buy and it looks phenomenal but I can’t help think it’s too big for a desk gamer. Not too mention the Xbox doesn’t support it well
It is a great monitor, but only a few can utilize its full potential (xbox excluded 😞)
thumping music at the start with drowned out microphone onwards
Weird, it works well for me. Is anyone else having this issue?
The resolution is upsetting
I agree! But 4k would require a crazy high-end graphic card.
I’m pretty sure this is the highest resolution you’re going to find on any ultrawide.
That curve is too much.
Yeah, it was a bit overwhelming. I think this would be great for driving Sims.
