I got Govee lights for my pc a few days ago. Lovely lights and a fine alternative to Philips, even if you want bigger wall mounted lightbars. Also reminder that Vivo sells the same mount for small monitors for $50. Hope to see more of you, youre living room vid was amazing

i just bought an ultrawide monitor and I like to play AAA games. But there are not a lot of famous games that actually support 21:9. Is there any way that you are handling this situation ? it meant a lot to me if you could let me know. Thankiu!!!
of all the upgrades (from GPU/CPU/Storage/RAM etc) the Alienware OLED I got around 6 months ago was by far the best upgrade of all. if your budget can stretch for an OLED, its well worth it.

I would love if you can share what is your ideal setup when having: the Steam Deck setup you showed last month, the ps5, this one, the huge oled from your living room with the console… To have an idea of what an experienced gamer would choose when you have everything and you had to game on only one.

I have a LG Ultrawide 38GL950G-B it's 3840x1600 at 38" and i was thinking of replacing it with this one. At a lower resolution and even bigger screen size, i'm wondering how pixelated the image looks?
can you compare the brightness to LG C2? cus right now i have LG C2 42, and i heard for this new 240hz oled they using new MLA tech which should be brighter, but idk if thats true or not
My C2 looks just about the same to me in brightness. I’ll check again to be sure

I held off on purchasing this monitor since it's release as I just wasn't impressed with it after looking it over at my local BestBuy store. But, this thing was $500 off for Black Friday and then I got another $200 off for getting the BestBuy Total membership ($49) at the time of purchase. All in all I saved $650 which put this monitor under $1,000. As my current monitor was a 48" 4K LG C3 Oled I wasn't expecting this 45" Ultrawide with a 1440p resolution to hold a candle against it visually but man was it better than I expected. The HDR and Contrast are very good and the 240 Hz frame rate is butter smooth and noticeable in fps games. Sure, the overall picture quality is slightly better on the 48" 4k but if my game supports the Ultrawide aspect ratio, I'm gonna play it on the more immersive 45". This monitor looks so much better in my house, under normal lighting, and running games than it did in the store. So, if you weren't impressed with it on display at the store, you may want to give it a shot during the holiday pricing and worst case scenario, you simply return it for a refund. I got inspiration from this video to purchase the same desk setup. I went with a black Alex drawer instead of white. Aside desk frame I also purchased gaming chair from Motion Grey and it was better than expected.
Can you tell if your monitor does pip and pvp aka picture by picture witch let's you use two devices like dual PC or Xbox one side and PC on the other side

I'm considering this monitor to replace my Dell S3220DGF (32", 1800r curved, 1440p, 16:9 ratio) monitor. I'll be using it primarily for MSFS2020, and was wondering about the dpi clarity of this LG considering it's only 1440p vs. 2160p. My Dell has been OK, but is rather underwhelming for MSFS-, with some of the aircraft's cockpit gauges hard to clearly read on the matt screen LCD of the Dell. Do you think this LG OLED would be a worthwhile upgrade, or should I wait until next year (2024) when 4K OLEDs become more available?

Honestly, it looks great on ultra settings and it handles gets between 160-240 fps depending on the game.
is ultra wide also good for movies too if not than what do you use for movies ??

Hey bro can you make a video on your nvidia control panel settings? i have a Gsync 240 hz monitor as well as a 3080 but im not sure if im using the right nvidia control panel settings. I use Gsync + Vsync on + Triple buffering off but im not sure if im using it correctly
Turn off Vsync my dude. Will only give you inputlag. You use Gsync, not both.

Looking to upgrade from my 1080p 😂 Thinking of getting a C2 or C3 or this. I kinda want the tv to serve as both my bedroom tv and monitor. I heard they have a firmware update for the C3 for auto dimming. If they release that for the C2 that would be great.
For a bedroom TV/Gaming Monitor, I'd definitely suggest going with the C2/C3 or any other TV versus a curved monitor.
Can confirm i did thsi when the c2 dropped and absolutely love it. I walk in my room after work and say "Hey Lg turn on (Netflix,UA-cam, or HDMI 1) and it just works. almost a year later I'm think of buying a 1440p 240hz oled for CSGO and COD etc. But Ive been playing for almost a year on the c2 and it works well, was running a 2080ti for a short time but switch to the 6950xt for HDM1 2.1, now running a 7900xtx and its as close as perfect as i can imagine.
