Fantastic video, Bill. Le Temps Suspendu is a hell of a watch, what an idea! To innovate in this industry is hard, and Hermès did that while not being a traditional watch house. Chapeau.
Hi Gasparm ... I too find it odd but very refreshing when Hermès offers innovations while other "real watch companies" just crank out the same watches with a different paint job year after year. (Chapeau?) Take care, Bill
I bought a white gold Parmigiane Tonda from one of your recommendations Bill. I got a great deal and love the watch. Listen to Bill he knows what he's talking about!
Hi Bill, the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Regulateur has a manual wind , modified Peseux 7040 vintage manufacture caliber, no longer in production. I have one in rose gold limited edition of 50
The screenshot for the video shows a golden faberge watch. Do you have information on that one? I think it's a Faberge Agathon (FAB-212) which I have found online, but I can't seem to get any information on the movement. Would you happen to know?
Great video Bill, older Daniel Roth watches are definitely great value for money, and very unique. Roger Dubuis Diver is one watch, I really like but I don't think I can pull it off with my 17cm wrist. The Cartier Santos 100 is also on my list. Thanks Bill.
As more people show an interest in a diverse watch selection, Abdul, the more likely they'll have diversity in offerings. I have no idea about security, though. Take care, Bill
Thanks Bill. I sold my collection years ago, for a very nice profit. I am currently looking to rebuy, once the dust settles. I am 68. now, so i want some keepers. thanks for the heads up web sites.
Loved the video ! Now i have some more sites and also brands, models to research and someday even buy Thank you very much and have a nice day Greetings from germany
looked at the sites but have a ? How do you balance a art deco 30’s Vachron Constatine {tank} to a more current watch by same. The Tank is affordable but Horologicaly, how would you compare it to its contemporaries. Or is that the wrong way to look at the situation ?
Great video, I am always a bit weary of buying watches online. I have heard some horror stories about Chrono24. You made a great point about the size of a watch, I tried on a Submariner date last week and I found it to be small.
Thanks, Its funny to see some watches are a-lot cheaper in EU en some are like 1k ore more cheaper in the USA. Thx for sowing some watches if never saw before. Start to love the HERMES watch more en more thanks to you.
Hey O... glad you liked it. One other thing about US vs. EU/UK pricing ... no VAT on US watches. Maybe what we all need is a giant Duty Free online shop for watches. Take care, Bill
There places where most don't even think of looking Andrew ... and btw, you're right about the art too ... however, you have to be careful with art ... I've seen some that were more like "In the styles of Picasso" ... but not Picasso!
The secret is out! I’ve used the real real for men’s clothing for a long time for exactly the reasons you’ve mentioned. They often have men’s stuff priced way below any other platform unless it’s from a well known brand(AP, Louis Vuitton, etc). Once I was able to get a pair of guidi shoes for $300 that were brand new and still had a price tag of $1400!
Buyer beware to everyone. Avoid these companies at they don’t have competent watchmakers and teams. Trust me, I worked at one. You’ll see incredible deals, vacheron 222’s NOS for 25k, nautilus for 40k, Carter platinum chinoise for 10k, but they are sniped and flipped internally. Never consign anything with them, you’ll get screwed
I’m not surprised you have been ignoring Rolex. I don’t want to knock Rolex, they make excellent machine finished watches. But if I want excellent machine finished watch I can get Longines or even Tissot and spend my cash on a watch that has a bit more of watchmakers signature to it
Alex, there are a dozen watch UA-cam presenters who could do a better job than I could on Rolexes. I have an equation of time Longines (Rolex doesn't) and other watches with complications that Rolex doesn't have. Nothing against Rolexes; just that I can find what I want aside from Rolex. Take care, Bill
Well researched, great finds... and two new sources to browse. Like a fisherman who shares the location of his favorite fishing holes! Thanks!
The pleasure is all mine David! Take care, Bill
I had no idea those websites existed. Loved this episode.
Like all dealers, you have to be careful and read the fine print, though Hope they're helpful to you. Take care, Bill
“All you need is the one you’re looking for.” 👌🏼
Great line!
Tanks Ned! I need to remind myself of that too. Take care, Bill

Hi Dino, I think it might be a Frédéric Piguet movement-1150 based I believe. Take care, bill

Great to hear Mike! Take care, Bill
Wow, what a selection! Thanks for showing us the websites.
Just more places for you and me to get in trouble, Javi! Take care, Bill
Are there any concerns about authenticity, warranties, and servicing when buying from online sites such as these?
Good point Jonnie, but I've yet to hear concerns. Take care, Bill
Avoid avoid avoid. Please trust me on this one
Loved the video !

That Daniel Roth world timer is my taste
That ProCE is my kind of watch as well! Take care, Bill

I was already looking in 2 out of 3 of those. They do have some good deals as well as some overpriced watches. 1st Dibs is also good for art.

I agree. Got a. Burberry sports jacket for a song from one too! Take care, Bill
Good info Bill ! From China,
Hiya Stoneiful! How are things in China?! Take care, Bill
Greetings Bill. These are some incredible prices for this kind of quality. It is most surprising that they offer such a large selection of Rolex.
Hi Tuna, I too was surprised by the large number of Rolexes on these sites ... popularity is a financial boon. Take care, Bill
Cats out of the bag.Fashionphile, my go to place to purchase a watch.
Good hunting Jose! Take care, Bill
What is your thoughts on finding deals on ebay ?
Manuvns-I've had excellent luck on eBay! Take care, Bill
Buyer beware to everyone. Avoid these companies at they don’t have competent watchmakers and teams. Trust me, I worked at one.

The same stories have circulated about eBay and C24, but you are right Henry; buyer beware! Take care, Bill
A tourbillon for $17k, now that’s a deal! Great finds Bill!
That caught my eye too-and a Roger Dubuis, Big Sal! Take care, Bill

The one issue with buying waches on these websites is that you dont really know what condition they are in
Always an online issue Daniel. Take care, Bill
